Hello, It seems that items at auction sites sell at very good prices. Where can I get info on buying wholesale?. Items at Estate sales and auctions in this area sell to high to make a little profit. I got layed off 2-weeks ago and thought I would try to make a living reselling on auction sites. My wife and I have been collecting antiques for years so we have a little experience. Any info would very helpful. Thanks, BE
My best advice is to choose an area of merchandise that you are personally very knowledgeable about. Spend about a month doing searches on the internet, trade magazines, local stores, etc... for the best sources. Then, choose the best sources to supply your inventory with. It's going to take a lot of hard work and research to find out good suppliers. This isn't the type of information people just give away. If they already know of the suppliers, it probably means that by giving you the information you'd be in direct competition with them. Just put some time into research, though, and you'll be okay. Good luck!

my advice is to go out there and get another job and then gradualy learn the game of big time internet auctions. i call it big time because i am refering to full time sellers whoose aonly source of income is auctions. taking that plunge without any selloing experience is suicide especially if you know little or nothing aobut where to get items as it seems by your post.....get a regular job and slowly work your way into the fulltime thing...UNLESS you can live for an extended period of time off savings
