Well, the week I was preparing to list a bunch of items post-Labor Day, some jerks attacked my country.
I was in limbo for a bit and so seemed ebay. I didn't feel like doing much of anything and selling junk on ebay was the least of my worries. I've got to get a packages shipped out tomorrow as well that I neglected.
Nevertheless, is ebay back to normal?
I see that stupid Auctions for America thing is dominating the site, but beyond that -- are we back up to somewhat normal Post-Labor Day volume?

I certainly hope the money from those auctions is to be mailed to a trust fund account set up just for that...
Sad, but the news is warning people of current scams, started right after the attack

Not really,
25 auctions - some feature, usually 400 hits by today, now less than
half and no bids, I am freaked but not projecting that to the rest of the house. I will continue to list and buy, We are going to Disney and spend next week..... we need to continue with life no matter what.
I halted one week from auctioning, and, all my comp did as well, these terrorist did one hell of a job by terrorizing the real people into not living!
I am back and back to stay, we need to continue with business and life!
buy, sell, vacation!
PPL need to come together and invest, spend, vacation!
I had two haircuts in two weeks, listed about 25 auctions this week, went to a Mexican restaurant tonight and will take everyone in my house to Disney next week!
If I have extra cash I will sink it in a stock! IF everyone did that
instead of seeing what's up with the other guy or jumping the gun we should all be okay.......
LIST! what the heck can you lose?
And while your at it, BUY something on eBay!
just do it!

Nah, this isn't fear on my part. Just business. I wasn't shocked so much last week as so angry that I didn't feel like doing anything else.

AuthorizedArt:
You ARE right...thanks for the pep talk.
Have lots of fun on vacation! Disney sounds like a blast. Didn't have the time in May when we were down for a show and didn't have time to do the August show (sent my partner instead); been sorry about missing out ever since. Although in May we did steal a couple of hours and go down and road the little "speed" boats around the harbor at Disney Village.
Are you the AuthorizedArt that gave one of the other posters here that cute flag gif?
Just curious. We are using on our website and I went out on the web to try to find out who specifically to credit and see if we could buy the right to use it but couldn't identify anyone with the specific gif. At the very least we'd like to give credit where credit is due.
Oh, and by the way --- I get dibs on kickin' these scum in the nuts --- when the government finally finds them. Or, I'd volunteer to do the interrogation after the FBI and CIA don't get the info they want out of their suspects. Sick? Yes! Satisfaction? Absolutely -- and me such an innocent looking lady and all.
Have a great time...I am going back to the corner now. "

AuthorizedArt: Enjoy Orlando. I hear that there aren't many tourists so you should be able to jump to the front of the line at any amusement park rides you go to...I'm tempted to make a trip down just to go while there aren't many lines!
