I know of two. Both are auction sites that will host your pictures to other auction sites.

jlady,

Please realize that it's difficult for people to respond to your quiery because many sites may be in competition to AW as far as image hosting goes and *their responses may appear to be promotional.

You might be more successful if you try a net search.

There are gobs of Free Picture Hosts out there and reliable ones to boot..

Here is a partial list and you can come to the HTML/Images Board @ebay and get assistance with more and help learning how.
ebaY's iPIX hosting is a joke and very problem ridden and picture quality leaves so much to be desired.

Good Luck,

FREE IS NOT ALWAYS GOOD - these days one must ask where do they get the funding ,how do they pay their bills?

Free is still good if you only run a small number of auctions.

If a site is truly "free", then it doesn't really compete with AW. Seems like the sites that are really competing are the ones that are tanking.

You can still use geocities.com if you are running a few auctions. If you have dozens, then you should consider another venue. But if things load slow or not at all, you get what you pay for.

sun818:

What is considered too much for geocities?

I use auctionwatch mostly, but do have a few items which are constantly relisted that use geocities for a small amount of hosting.

flashv1105 -- I can't give you an exact figure, but I would think it has to do number of images loaded and their size. I used them without any problems when I was running about 10 auctions a week. The pictures would occassionally not load, but since Yahoo took them over, it hasn't been a problem. I list over 100 auctions now, so I have to go with a webhost. 500MB of web space plus "unlimited" bandwidth for $100 per year ain't bad.
