I found the cutest little vinyl purse at a garage sale. It is a souvenir from Atlantic City and seems like it would appeal to a lot of different collectors in a fun, kitsch-y kind of way. I tried it under souvenirs and got almost no hits. Do I try vintage purses? Toys? Please help.
edited to add, I can't believe my photo worked!!!!!

Assuming Muriel's suggested category wasn't actually added recently by ebay in its rush to categorize everything on the planet, I'd put it in vintage purses, with "Atlantic City Souvenir" prominently appearing in the title and text.
It really is cute (this, coming from a wallet gal!). Makes me want to do something zany, like paint my nails and use lots of hairspray.

Mapledr: I checked your auctions. Boy you ARE diverse! But I have a question. What's going on between you and Mary Englebreit and Hallmark? Do you three have a "thang going on"?
I've had really good luck with Mary Engelbreit stuff. A tapestry pillow I got at a garage sale for 25 cents sold for $12.00 - I think more than if it was new, which it wasn't.
Anyway, I stumbled across a few boxes of Christmas cards for about one-third the original retail price. So I bought them and thought I would see how they do. I figured if they didn't sell, I'll just use them instead!
I realize I post a really wacky variety of stuff - I can't help it! It's all stuff I think is neat and ebay gives me an excuse to buy it! You should see my house!!!!!!! Sometimes I wonder if I would do better (though I think I'm doing OK) if I stuck to just one or two categories, but I wouldn't have as much fun.
HCQ, Thanks for your suggestion on a category. It is cute, isn't it?!
edited to add I do realize it's spelled category!

You could also try the word " Retro " in the title under vintage ( souvenir )purses . If it's from the 50's or 60's , some people search for 'retro' to narrow down the " vintage " . I've had good luck with that ; or put in the decade , e.g. " 50's ".
