Can I request a refund from eBay for Final Value Fees if I refunded the bidder their money? Bidder thought it was a child's and it was a plus size adult size. I did not want to fight with this one. By the way all measurements were there and it was in the correct adult clothing category. So, do you think eBay will refund these fees?
Where do I go? I can only find Final Value Fees refund after Non-Paying Bidder Alert form filed. I don't want that, do I?

Just to clarify a NPB is filed no matter what the reason. There is a place on the form where the seller specifies why he is requesting credit: High bidder didn't respond, high bidder didn't pay, high bidder returned merchandise for refund, transaction cancelled by mutual agreement, etc. If the seller chooses either of the first two reasons, a 10 day waiting period is imposed before the FVF credit can be requested, and the bidder receives a gentle reminder to pay his seller. If any of the other reasons is chosen, the bidder gets a nice "your seller let us know this didn't work out, sorry to hear that, let us know if this isn't correct" letter and the seller can file for FVF immediately. In the case where a seller selects no response or payment, when the FVF is filed the bidder gets a nastygram telling him that he now has a black mark against his record, and that two more will result in a 30 day suspension, while a fourth will result in permanent suspension.
