What do you expect, seems Sunday has become eBay's traditional "day of rest".

I'm with nowwhat! I thought Sunday evening would be a great day to end my auctions without eBay deciding to take a crap during my auctions, guess not either. This just plain old sucks! Please forgive my childishness, but it's true!

I can't believe this all my auctions are ending for the week. On top of this they hardly have any bids. I was hoping for the watchers to get their bids in. Now I will have to pay the new listing fees on all these second timers myself! You would think after going down last Sunday Night that they would at least insure that the next week we would at least have a break and have every computer guru on the planet over at Ebay tonight. I am packing up the family and moving us to the Poor House with Shirley Temple if this keeps up too much more. Please EVERYBODY write to the suggestion box over at Ebay and Ask that they let us list for 10, 9, 8, 7, 6,5, and 4 day auctions so we are not all listing on the same day. It might help. They told me this week they were thinking about. Can't they think a little harder...Pleeeeeze!

I sure am glad I've got auctions ending shortly. I would hate to make any money. That would just help me be able to pay ebay for those same items.

E-Bay is very reliable in it's unreliability. Got home page by way of AW but everything else cannot be accessed, not even announcement page that they suggest we all click on to.

I hear you Flynn!
It makes it difficult to justify the time spent preparing auctions to end at a specific time if they are just going to keep having these 'functionality' issues.

What can you say that hasn't been said a hundred ...no a thousand and maybe a million times before " $%^x&?#*&%k$#T^&*^$#$."

Well, I was able to get to the announcement page within seconds of it occuring and the problem was listed, so either they knew this was coming or they have an automated response plan in place.

What's the e-mail address of Ms. "Site Stability is Our Number One Priority" again.
Not that she actually reads it or gives a damn- but it would be an effective place to vent.

The auctions I had scheduled from auctionwatch launched. I'll get charged for them but no one will see them.

Just frigging lovely.

Underpaid,incompetent techs + free hardware + corrupt management+insatiable greed = ebay

NOT Vorlon4 on Ebay

I am the reason Ebay is down. You see I have this really great item that I have been waiting to sell for about 8 months now even paid the 19.95 to feature it etc. . . I told my friend watch the minute I put it up ebay will be having problems and people won't even be able to get in the night of the end. it ends tonight soon. See this is all a plot from Ebay to finaly get me to pop for a featured auction and then shut the site down. (actaully I am only joking about the plot thing the rest I am not) I am also trying real hard not to get real aggravated and or upset because there is nothing I can do about it. I could really use the money from that auction though. It is tough to keep cool. However I think I will go soak a try to read a good book and come back in an hour to see what is going on. I told everyone though the night this auction ends the whole thing would go down on Ebay and sadly I was corret Damn it!

I am going to go chill it is only money right. #($*!#$(*

An auction I have been waiting to bid on for three days is closing in 7 minutes.

I can not get my bid in. The seller is about to be cheated out of probably another $40-50 on their auction

Ebay's Disney Auction site is slated to open tomorrow on 10/16. The site is www.ebay.disney.com and when you go their it gives you the same down message as ebay.

Do you think the launching of yet another ebay site from their servers is overloading the entire system?

But you have nothing to worry about if you don't sell Disney...

...opps what was I saying? If all of ebay is down because of yet another ebay venture that excludes only some of the current ebay sellers...maybe people will start to wake up and get a clue that ebay really doesn't care about the sellers. Not when they can bring in a large company to replace all of the little insignificant sellers who struggle to make a living on ebay.

I also got the page "Site Is Temporarily Unavailable."

What I find funny (sense the sarcasm) is that the title of the page says "eBay.com - Site is Temporarily Unavailable Due To Scheduled Maintenance"

Scheduled Maintenance?? HAH!

wells pawned, if you had placed your bid early that seller wouldn't be cheated out of the money, and you wouldn't have lost the auction.

When will bidders learn that proxy bidding is not a bad thing?

Sniping works only when ebay works.
