Is there any way to tell diecast toy vehicles from pressed steel? I thought diecast were all real small, like Hot Wheels, but just found out that isn't the case. Question #2...If it is made by Ertl is it automatically diecast?

A Broad Generalization:

Pressed Steel vehicles are stamped out of Sheet Metal on a Press.
Diecast Vehicles are made by pouring or injecting Molten Metal into molds.

Ertl has made Pressed Steel Trucks in the past, I saw one at the flea market today.

Each type of vehicle is made in various sizes
