I have had my run ins and been outsniped by many but, tonight I had an auction running . 2 guys diligently fought back and forth for a good hour and someone in the last 15 mins. snuck in with his first bid( the bidding went back and forth between the same two for 14 bids and an hours worth of bidding for one party at least.)and sniped it with 4 seconds to go. LOL. I am still snickering... LOL

I was up at 6 AM to keep an eye on an auction I REALLY wanted to win. I sat and watched one gal repeatedly try and outbid my reserve...she'd up the increment a little each time, but didn't quite hit it. You could almost tell she was waiting a few minutes to get her nerve back before trying again. She was getting uncomfortably close during the last three minutes or so, so I made a quickie bid and raised it $15 plus some cents. I won! Doin' the happy dance as we speak. This is especially satisfying because (a) I am NEVER awake enough that early in the morning to be able to type coherently (numbers, particularly), and (b) I am generally a chicken about sniping. I'm not sure this qualifies as a "snipe," but it sure was fun. And will be profitable later!

How dare thos miserable snipers do such awful things! How disappointing for the bidders who were there earlier on!...It should be banned...
Errrrr...wait, did I just say that?
Did my little dance last night, with seconds to spare.
