If I use FrontPage to transfer pictures and information to a web host (Hypermart), can I then use this site for eBay sales? How does it compare with AW?

glotten -- not real clear on what your question is You can host your pictures anywhere (I use my ISP-alloted space). IMHO, it's not a good idea to put a link in your ad to an auction description that's located on another page somewhere. I know I don't like it when I'm a bidder. I want to get to the eBay page/description, read and bid, bingo!
Is this along the lines of what you were wondering?

Frontpage is great. If you mean your transferring your pictures from there to your FTP or image hosting-Hypermart (I am unfamiliar with them) then thats great.
But if you mean, as the above poster pointed out, sending a bidder to another page to see and/or read description, not really a good idea.
Your ISP should allot you so much space that you can hold your own pictures in an ftp, and if your creating templates etc on Frontpage, you can transfer them directly to ebay.

Let me try to clarify where I am and what I want to do. I have FrontPage up and going. I have my template set up with a table. In the table I have inserted pictures. Now how do I get it all to eBay? Thanks.

Oh ok... well then it would be hard, because you would have to copy the source of the generated file and paste it into the description area of ebay's 'Sell your Item'. Unless your doing the same over and over, you would have to make new files on Front page over and over.
Probably the best thing is to use an Auction program, like Auction Watch or Auction Assistant or one of those..?

If you have set up an accout with a front page web server all you have to do is build the page and save it to the server with the pictures in it. After you save the page go to the HTML tab and select all and copy all of the code paste it into the action form. The pic will be were you put it in the page. You can go to the folder list and copy the address of the pic so you can put it in the gallery.
What I am saying if once you have save the page with the pic to the server it will have the address attached to it.
That is one of the great things about Front Page. It does all of the bull for you.
Just delete the picture and page from front page after the auction.

yes you now must copy and paste the html for each item list on ebay.
dont use them java tools and other flashy tool in your listing though since frontpage uses its own CGI bin these wont work on ebay.
if you useing like frontpage 98 or 2000 even most of the table you make will be run from inside the front page CGI which is stored in your CGI folder at your host server
also ebay wont support them frontpage extention either.
