...meaning, I'm not getting much feedback on the books I sell. Today I noticed I am up to 45 sold [not so bad since I have never had more than about 70 books listed at a time, at the most]. But my FB number is 7 transactions.
When you ship, do you write a note on the packing form asking for FB?

My Mom sells tons of books on half.com. she's sold about 150 in the last month. She has six fb. I kind of think that since the purchaser pays half.com, they don't look at it as buying from an individual. At least not in the same way you do on e-bay.
I also don't think that the fb is important. I think most people just choose which book they want to buy, buy it, end of story. More like any on-line store you buy from.

I'm a little off topic but I just checked my e-mail. Half.com is offering free shipping on the first item purchased for the next 48 hours. Sales must be down. I know mine are.
Regarding Half.com feedback; mine's at 40%. My eBay feedback seems to be MIA these days. I'm getting tired of leaving it and not getting any in return. I think it's because I have lots of low feedback buyers.

I've bought 4 books on Half.com, and - as I do on eBay - I've left feedback when the item arrives.
And, I do look at the feedback before making a purchase, which seems to be a good idea:
I ordered 3 books on the same day; 2 of them have arrived. I ordered a 4th book from one of the sellers last week, and it has already arrived. Those sellers had positive (4/5) ratings; the book I ordered from the seller who didn't have a rating hasn't arrived yet. (I'm sure it will, it's been shipped, and he does have a rating now, but still...)

Since February, I've been on ebay. I have sold and shipped 2,340 items to date. My feedback is a whopping 532. If a buyer doesn't want to leave feedback, then he doesn't want to leave feedback. AW has a very efficient reminder system for buyers who don't leave feedback. Use it.
