Considering what another post on this subject said, I have to admit that the decision to require credit card verification of everyone by Yahoo was not only BOLD, but also a great way to redirect most of the deadbeats to Ebay.
Ironically, Ebay is BEHIND Yahoo on this. I don't know why Ebay won't institue the same policy.
AT LEAST Ebay could require CC verification of AOL users---or any other user who belongs to a network of users that permit one to utilize soooo many e-mail addresses.
This is not descrimination. It is just far too easy for AOL users to circumvent any system short of CC verifiaction.
