but will/does it work?
I ran across an auction today that had in the TOS that the auction would "end during eBays scheduled down time, so bid early"..the only down side I see right now is having to list at 3 AM EST.
This strategy(if the bidders read the TOS)SEEMS like it might cut down on "snipers" and "watchers"...whaddya think?

I wouldn't like it for myself - but I always get a lot of last minute bidders. For those who don't care for snipers I think it's a great solution.
posted on September 16, 2000 07:28:38 PMCapotasto,you can't list an auction during the downtimes, but if it is anything other than a 7 day auction, you can time it to end in that period.
Edited to add: I've never used AW sheduling feature so I don't know what would happen if you scheduled something to list at that time. Has anybody else tried it?
