GU1HToM The people who understand what they are doing no longer use PAYPAL. (with good reason)

uaru:
"That doesn't explain why PayPal is accepted on 72% of eBay's listings (according to the news article I saw earlier this week.) I think if you look at the shooting star seller's (those with feedback over 10,000) you will find the acceptance rate doesn't support your theory, or maybe you think these high volume sellers don't understand what they are doing."

Those are the people who have not had a problem.... YET.
Give them time...they will wise up & drop PAYPAL like a rock when a problem arises.

"There are outfits that are using PayPal that even surprised me. Ever heard of Adorama Camera or 47th Street Photo? These outfits have been selling camera gear mail order for decades. There isn't a photo magazine printed in the last 30 years that doesn't have pages of their ads in the back. They also list a few auctions, guess what, even with their long established merchant accounts they are sporting the PayPal logos."

It is an option that they choose to do.
If it is such a good option why do we not see it with other retail establishments like Sears, Walmart, Toys R US with PAYPAL logos?
I am sure that there is no reason why they should not be accepting PAYPAL...

"Maybe, just maybe there are some people that use PayPal that do understand what they are doing."

Maybe, just maybe PAYPAL has been nice to them.

Maybe, just maybe PAYPAL cut a deal with these companies giving them a better rate or improved service (LOL).

Maybe, just maybe PAYPAL is better than any merchant account out there. So soon you will see PAYPAL logos everywhere. Need something from the convience store? Pay with PAYPAL!

Maybe, just maybe PAYPAL is better than any bank out there. Why invest OUR money in a bank when we can have PAYPAL look after it for us?

I am sure that this is what the world according to PAYPAL should look like.
But then if PAYPAL is that good.....
Why is it not happenning?

Everyone is entitled to an opinion even if it is wrong.
I am basing my opinion on my experiences with PAYPAL.

I imagine the only reason you don't see the big companies using PrayPal is because they don't want PrayPal letting a bunch of scam artists receive and keep their merchandise for free. As you've probably already seen, it is easy for a fraudulent buyer to scam a seller out of their merchandise by utilizing PrayPal's loophole filled TOS. PrayPal has shown me that it pays to be fraudulent.
