This is for the gal with the black hair, a Scorpio with a Pisces rising and a Cancer Moon.

I have been staring at your chart and what keeps occurring to me is that I would not mind living your life. This is purely my personal bias, and it is not to say that you life is easy or something (not!).
What I mean is that I like your tools - what you have to work with, and the trade offs, the prices you have paid or have to pay for your gifts seem worthwhile to me especially at this stage in your life.

Now you may not feel this positive about your life.
I hope you do, but if not, then maybe by my appreciation of you can get more of your own.

If you have not seen your chart, check it out here, you can calculate for free:
http://www.astro.ch/cgi-bin/atlw3/aq.cgi?lang=e

You will find that their is a huge bias UP.
Like a push up bra LOL Up, up, up, there is no droop.
Like something that rises above where ever you set it down.
I imagine this is how your life has played.

Because most of the planets in you chart are placed in a "bunch" you are pretty much a specialist. Better at what you do than most, because what you do is what you do and there is not a lot of infighting or pushing and pulling from the inside. Very Popeye - "I yam what I yam!"

Now I expect that with Saturn leading the pack (your stellium) that you spent the first 30 years of your life stifled (even if you stifled yourself) but post 30 Saturn shines and you can really embrace who you are an what you are about.

So who are you and what are you about?

Well you have the water trinity covered (emotion), and so I would have to say that you are wholly advanced on an emotional level.
Via your Cancer Moon you have intimate understanding of the emotion of birth. Via a massive amount of Scorpio, you understand crisis and death, and via your Pisces you understand God by whatever name, the feeling of everything and everyone being part of a whole.

Now back to my personal bias - I think that having a holistic vantage point like this is of huge value.
I recognize that you acquired this by enduring great pain, loss and sacrifice but the point I want to make is that even if it did not come cheap - it is an E ticket and one you can be proud to hold.

It also seems to me because your Scorpio Sun made it into the 9th house that you are able to apply everything you are in a most highminded, generous and spiritual way. This is a gift, because typically this much Scorpio brings with it, much seething and negative emotion to cope with, and I can see quite clearly that you can transcend that in large part most times.

What else?

Artistic talent. You have a creative 5th house Moon, Jupiter in Libra, the ability to dream, to channel, to be innovative - you name it, you got it.
I would also hope that you have children, and if not, that you find a way to bring them into your life because you would get great joy from them, and they would most definitely be empowered by you.

The other thing I think is supremely fortunate is your Venus in Capricorn.
Now Venus in Capricorn is NOT considered a terrific placement, by a shot but in your case, it is the only personal planet that you have in an earth sign which is at a premium, and terribly necessary when you have this much water in a chart.
It is well aspected, and acts as the one place where you can go to ground and get down to earth.
I don't know how it plays, but one tune it knows is "serious humanitarian" which has a nice ring to it.
What I mean is this is something you could do or be if you were of the mind.
A mature love of humanity. I don't know why, but it makes me think of Paul Newman.
You know how he got to a certain age and started giving stuff away.
He did this before the metaphysical people got on it. He was on the scene first, ahead of his time.
Now he is older and wise enough to realize and accept that he will not live forever, and so he is transferring his charities to Oprah Winfrey.
The guy is a class act.

interlude
Okay, I found Paul Newman.
I was right.
YOU - Venus in Cap in the 11th house (Aquarius house)
HIM - Aquarius Sun with venus in Cap.
there you go.
A wise humanitarian
end of interlude

As for your transits, you currently have T Uranus sq your Sun and T Pluto is on your Midheaven conjunct Saturn and so wipe out on the career front and also perhaps the death
(literally or figuratively - and as a Scorpio I expect you to understand what I mean and not freak out )
of the father / father figure.
Painful?
Yes.
But unavoidable and growth follows and your fear is to be no more.
As I keep looking, I see that this is quite a profound time (and I mean NOW today, not in 6 months) - you are getting a double whammy here.
Result is fast change and the conquering of POWERFUL fears.
Consider Pluto coming along to obliterate obstacles (Saturn) and OLD FEAR because this is what is happening - though I am not suggesting this is a pleasant walk in the park for you by a shot.
You are most definitely out of control, and I also now notice T Pluto is sq N Saturn and so there is obviously a transition / transformation of a man in your life right now (repeated 3 times, I am sold!) so my news for you is hang on.
You are at a peak NOW, the apex of this, and very soon (now) this will be subsiding and you will take stock of what is left and rebuild. When faced with this process, keep in mind how good you are at it.

I re-read and want to cover this other bit...
Live your Sun, satisfy your Moon..

Your Scorpio Sun in the 9th is a seeker. You want to expand your perspective with particular interest in psychology, sex, and taboo.
9th house wants an international view - you are as far from "narrow minded" as a person can get --- and also via Jupiter in the 8th, you find glory in the extreme and intense.
Redemption? Same place?
Your intellect? Same place.
See how you are.... specialist Scorpio / Sag
BIG SCORPIO or backwards INTENSE PHILOSOPHER

Your Cancer Moon in the 5th wants to nurture and play. Hopefully on a sunny day.
This is where the children come in, so if you don't have any of your own, then sharing art with children, theatre, anything creative, would feed your moon.

VM--

I read your post about me in the Sign thread...and there's a question that keeps popping to mind.

You describe me as "chatty" because of all my mutable signs. However, I am actually double-sided on that aspect. It seems that I am really quiet, don't want to talk most of the time...but if I feel comfortable in the surroundings/situation I am in, you can hardly get me to shut up. Why would that be? Am I missing out on something here?

This is jamesoblivian's gal pal.
Posting her chart because look at the collection!

I will write tomorrow, but the first thing I note is her rising sign @ 1 Cancer exactly conjunct your Jupiter @ 1 Cancer.
You like her body

..and then there is the little matter of her descendent (the partner - cusp of the 7th) @ 1 Capricorn.
Your Sun is a 0 Capricorn, so hmmm.....
Where do you think you fit in her picture?
LOL!

This is gonna be fun.

Well good to see your back! My lack of interest in Yahoo, has lead me to read some of these threads like yours which normally I wouldn't have the opportunity to do so. However, I don't really now much about you field of expertise! Other than many people here enjoy your posts and comments, including myself. However, I would like to comment on something. You mentioned you hubby had his eye glass frames from the 5th grade. Well he should consider getting him a new prescription for lenses. Reason being, I went to your Space Junk page and saw what I assume was your picture in the upper left corner. What Mickey Hart??? No way!!! Much more appealing to the eye!

kcpick4u - that's a nice thing to say, I appreciate it, but I have had 2 deadhead husbands tell me that I look like Mickey Hart and so who can argue with that?
It is an eyebrow thing.

I have heard the Mr Spock comment from at least a 1/2 dozen people, maybe 10 and yep - I can see it.
I bought a T-shirt with a huge Spock on it that says "Ciao Baby" on it (who knows what they were thinking when they made this shirt, but I snapped it up on Ebay via Canada).
Anyway, when I put it on you can see a true affinity and so I wear it.
Then I leave the house and people ask me about various episodes and all I have is a blank stare.
It's a shirt is all, and I bought it for the "Ciao". You cannot find many Italian things in the west, sometimes I think I am about it.

Anyway, I have watched about 3 ST shows in my life and slept through about another 300 or so. Whenever I want a good nights sleep, I tell my husband to get one of this movies that start with "Star" (trek, wars, man, troopers, seed, whatever) and that does it. 3 minutes later I am gone.
But I like people who like Star Trek. Every Trekkie/er I have ever met has had complete integrity and a lot of heart. I just see black sky with stars and a ship in it, and next thing I know, it is morning.

VM,
I truly respect the attempt to defend the DH's opinions! However, the known usage of hallucinogenic drugs in that culture might lend one to believe any one of that ilk, could quite possibly be suffering from some latent hallcinosis or altered consciousness! Which could result in a altered perception, which in turn would alter their observation's or conclusion's derived from observation! Yes, I haven't seen a good spaghetti western in quite awhile! So now we know your eyebrows look like Mickey Harts, please, refrain from telling me that your ears are pointed like Spock's, or perhaps a little on the devilish side! 3 episodes of ST is not really giving it a fair shot!

Best Regards

She finally answered the phone at 10PM
tonight. She was perky, and upbeat ,out trying to help another friend who will go for their first
chemo treatment tomorrow.10 more minutes and I would have awakened everyone of her relatives in Maine,Trying to find Penny.
Penny is in Colorado, and I am in Texas.
She is in a better frame of mind then she was a few weeks back.
There will be another chemo for her in 2 weeks,If she stays upbeat, as she is now
It will mean a big difference in the
outcome.
Thankyou and VM for asking.

Did you see the "Dark Star Trek" cartoon in this thread? Apparently some Vulcan's meet up with some Deadheads and they do a mind meld thing and take a bunch of "killer" shows back to their planet (?)
Star Trek and the Dead have merged in my husband's mind. Mickey Hart is the Vulcan and I suppose I am like the offspring from when they toured Italy.

James and his gal pal - I am going to focus in.
Forget the blathering. You both manage to have the same Venus profile. (this is odd)
Venus is love, and relationship, and so I am on topic if I go here and stay here.
This is a slice of your lives separate or together.
It is not the whole of you life, however you will also never be without this and that is for good or for ill, and so I think that if I am going to write, I will serve best by spending the time outlining something, offering knowledge about something, that will plague you in one form or another until you get a handle on it (easier said than done).

This is a feature of both of your personalities and so plays in your relationship but if you separate you take this with you.
You own it. So keep in mind, this is applicable to both of you.

Okay, so you both have Venus in Sagittarius and you also both have Neptune in Sagittarius conjunct.
2 planets conjunct in a chart are unable to function independently. When one goes, the other goes with it. One goes over a cliff - the other comes with.
This is not negotiable.

First one.

Venus in Sag = Big and Boundless Love. To someone with Venus in Sag, love is NOT scarce. It is plentiful, given freely and demands freedom in love. Happy love, confident love, it is not possessive (having graduated from Scorpio) and will not tolerate being possessed. Hugely chivalrous, like Venus in all the Fire signs, Venus in Sag love can not be bottled, contained, dictated to or controlled in any way.

Wanna lose a Venus in Sag lover?
Attempt to restrict and you will watch them hit the door and never come back. Above all the other signs - Sag knows how to LEAVE.

There is an interest in foreign things. Venus is your taste, and so a taste for the exotic. Exotic food, exotic experience, the desire being to expand the horizons. Also things in large way. To hell with "enough" money, Venus in sag wants (and often gets) BIG MONEY!
And then there is the TRUTH. Not *the* truth really but THEIR truth. You are gonna hear it! Venus in Sag holds no secrets in love and needless to say they are very hard to MARRY since this is kind of like tying a horse to a post (in their eyes) and so they are not likely to volunteer their neck. It is an unnatural state for them, and they will stay unmarried unless other things in the chart force marriage, and a compromise is made.

Then the other. Add Neptune...

Now you have delusion. In Sag, Big delusion. Add Venus - in love. Big Delusional Love also Big Sacrifice Love
What's that mean?
I have written about this quite a bit before (see cmbtboots, myself off the top of my head) but when Neptune mixes with Venus (by aspect, of Venus in Pisces, or Venus in the 12th) the person love life is a fantasy. They fantasize love and are able to temporarily create heaven on earth in relationship.
They do not see their love, or their beloved as something down to earth or REAL. Rather they are involved with someone / something otherworldly, specially blessed, heavenly and so forth. Their love is ethereal and dreamy and pure and hoo-boy is it ever FETCHING.
Venus Neptune tantalizes...
Come hither and all your pain and sins will be washed away.
They mean it, and they deliver the goods too.
Bring me your tired, your poor...
For awhile.
This can only be held up so long and then the veil drops. It is inevitable that this occurs because it is smoke and mirrors and delusion and self delusion and really really really great UN-real love.

How does it come undone?
Well, someone farts.
Sounds funny, or even stupid to some of you, but it is true.

Everyone knows someone like this.
They dial you up and they have just met the be all end all man/woman of their dreams. You have heard this before of course, but you listen and they go on and on about this new nirvana they live in. How after all their struggles in love - they have now gotten their sweet reward in the form of mr/ms whoever and will live in sweet bliss forever. They have it! The holy grail, the key to heaven...

You shake your head because you KNOW that this person will be gone in a few weeks and here is the next phone call.

"That ()(*&*^%^ stole my money/cheated on me/was married..." etc. etc.

Recognize this?

Okay, the Venus Neptune person does not see this worth a damn.
Even if they DO see it, they forget that they saw it within a week or a month because the thrust here is to reach nirvana and NOT to find out that it does not exist.
What? Men fart?
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay so back at the ranch, what happens is the beloved who cannot possibly live up to the ideal of the Venus Neptune person, and so they act like a normal man or woman and RUIN EVERYTHING.
Often this person the Venus Neptune partner has thrown on a pedestal is no where near worthy of being on one. Like they are not even an AVERAGE or COMMON guy/gal in fact they are WORSE than average and so you can see how it is heady stuff for the partner in this.
Here is this lying cheatin' jerk and no one can stand them, but Venus Neptune comes along as savior and is going to wash them up and can't see the flaws that are blatantly obvious to the non-deluded and so there you go.
There is an overabundance of faith. There is an aversion to reality in love.

So the veil drops and now the Venus Neptune person is devastated.
Drat! Foiled again!
But what about the partner? Yesterday they could do now wrong and now they are thrown out like trash.
Er....
Who is the victim here?

Now you want to know where the money shot is? The pay off?
Venus Neptune sets this whole thing up for this little slice of it.
When they are in the relationship with their love god/goddess and right when they are in total bliss, right, right, right when they got the beloved captured................. reality starts to seep in....
Just barely. Just the edges...
This is the pay off.
It is called "divine discontent".
It is exquisite pain. Divine pain.
cmbtboots - you know this well and so do I. We have done drunk from this well!

Venus / Neptune specific to Sagittarius?
"I tell the truth and act in a high way, and so I am sure that my lover tells the truth..."
Bad assumption.
Too much faith, or badly placed faith... Unwillingness to see the shadow that everyone has.

interlude
Pluto - always digging through the lover's trash for evidence.
Neptune - ignores 10 foot tall stack of evidence.
end of interlude

Back to James and gal pal.

You both have this in your chart, it is a shared reality. You both want love that is IDEAL.
You can have it (now and then) but most times it will fall short.
You can leave and look for love that is ideal and with this much sag, you can cover the globe, and you WILL find it, but it will be fleeting and illusory.

The two of you have many excellent contacts in your chart. You genuinely like each other, and have the ability to commit if you want. The reason I wrote about this is because together or otherwise - this scenario, this challenge to manage these tendencies will be with you for a lifetime.
It is not doom, it is not dread, but it IS, and if you cannot immediately identify this in your life and want to come back and say "she's wrong" then go ahead, but just hold on to my email so you can post me at a later date and apologize

Want to find this in your life today?
Recall the last time that you felt disillusioned by someone.
Then ask yourself if you were really a victim, or if you aided and abetted the person....

be well.

kcpick4u - VeryModern is from Very Modern, Very Italian and Very Good.
It is an old Benetton ad slogan tagged on me by my sister.

My husband went to 250 shows starting in 1976, and then quit counting. I have been to 2. The first time I did not get it. I did not get it at all. I had heard so much and so I went to the stage as is my style and I stared and stared and you know... a bunch of guys standing there is shorts, one foot tapping and I just thought "I don't get it."

Next time was different.
I got reeeeeeal high.
I hung out on the periphery by the PORTA-POTTYS and watched the scene, saw it all and so I guess you could say I actually only saw 1 show

Anyway, that was enough for me. I do like to travel, but I do not like to go back and back and back. Once, twice and then pulllease something new. Rocky Horror Picture Show? Something similar? Saw it once, saw it twice and that's it - appeal is over, but I do respect (actually I enjoy) others who are involoved, or attached to stuff like that.

Here is the astrology of it.
7th house describes the partner - and I have Uranus in there.
Uranus loves to be part of a group, and prefers something offbeat / unconventional and so the deadheads (also trekkies) are perfect vehicles for that.
This is why I have wound up with 2 deadheads, (and one counter culture shack man).
It is like "where do I put my weirdness?" Oh! I know. On my partner!
Matter of fact, if I keep my mouth shut (not often but sometimes) I can actually pass for conservative. Of course once I start saying "Neptoon" is whomping on my Saturn, things change. I am not sure why, because it is only the truth, and not weird at all.

I read some where in a thread that another gentleman had the same problem! Time to get a new CRT. 250+, that is a lot! No need to expound on anything dealing with that issue, you have probably heard the most of it any way! You either like them or not! Well, better luck next time! As far as the astrology goes, it obviously brings you a lot of joy and other people as well! So more power to you! It is interesting! However, I have not a clue to what is going on, with all these charts and planet this planet that ...etc.

VM - this should go in Astrology 101 perhaps.

You said "Above all the other signs - Sag knows how to LEAVE."

Then a Moon in Sag might indicate withdrawal of emotions? In 8th house, particularly withdrawal from sexual intimacy?

Simplistic question I know, and you can't tell without the whole chart, but I am just putting pieces together one at a time. Baby steps. This one makes sense, if my interpretation of your jigsaw piece for James and lady is possible.

This is for Sue aka deco100, a Sag with a Leo rising and Moon conjunct Neptune in Virgo who knows some astrology (hoo-ray!.

Sue, I like your chart a lot because all the elements are well represented. The Saturn cycle you mentioned is not what is causing you grief, on the money and body front, it was a transit of Uranus, and so that is where I will start.

First thing I want to do is outline the deal with money in your chart to give you some perspective of how it acts in your life. I am sure you will recognize the scene and so the point is to help you identify and understand the patterns with the result being less grief and/or panic about it.

Money is shown by Venus, and your Venus is involved in a T-square with Mars and Uranus which are both pretty hostile to it. They do protect you from boredom on the love / money front, so tip your hat to that part of it If you have been reading "Full Moon" then you know that this is lying in your chart waiting to spring to life, and it works like this...

First thing is you have Venus in Scorpio.
This brings you benefit via other people's energy and hence your business. Scorpio is prone to extremes and Venus in Scorpio at various points in their life find themselves both flush or starving. Venus in Scorpio is NOT going to make it through a lifetime without a financial wipe out or two or three or four. This is part of the package.

Now add Uranus with Venus in any sign and you have sudden change, sudden reversal. Venus/Scorpio/Uranus? Try Unexpected betrayal involving love or money. Sound familiar? Factor Mars in there, and this just makes it hot and angry and fast.

So why now?

T Uranus has been in Aquarius transiting your 6th house (work and health and diet and everyday routines). Brings unexpected cahnge in these areas.
It hit your N Mars setting off your T-square - with Uranus on the Midheaven (career) and Venus in Scorpio in the 4th, where your feelings of "security" lie and so they take a hit. That is the money part, and you see it is waiting to happen. It is always waiting to happen and when your t-square is hit by a major transit you can predict a result like this.

Before I forget - at the same time, your Leo (opposes Aquarius) rising (body) was hit by the opposition from T Uranus and the result is your leg and of course this forces change in your 6th house everyday activities....
Just FYI - T Uranus has moved into your 7th house now (away from health) but T Neptune is still on the scene which I will get to.

Now back to this money...
Why did this happen?
Well it was not because you were bad, or living wrong or something. It was for your liberation, and I do not know WHY you needed to be freed, but I can take a stab at it. Perhaps at this point your life the rental idea is a better one. Being mostly passive you are free to pursue other things. Now I am not saying that the trauma you have suffered is pleasant, what I am suggesting is that with time you are highly likely to look back at this scene that transpired with gratitude.

I am suggesting that for two reasons.
First because it is true, but secondly because you are not done with your T-square being triggered. T Neptune will bring the next challenge and so my idea here is to help you see how to align.

For example if you had known and understood up front that their was a financial shock on the horizon and understood it's purpose it may have brought you less trauma (or helped recovery time) and so I want to try to shore you up for your next hits, because they are coming. Not that you should be afraid, forget about that, but so that you can look see what is coming at ya on the horizon and meet and greet and channel.

Up next, T Neptune and I also have to cover T Saturn and Mars, so you see you are going to be busy, but you are also going to be fine and more fabulous then you can possibly imagine on the other side of this cosmic tune-up.

To be continued.
