I'd like to find another Rock Chucker and a set of .45 colt dies so my kid could reload with me but every one I find for sale is apparently made out of solid gold or something.
Irked, that is a tragically beautiful collection of six shooters to be scattering to the four winds. You should have donated it together to some museum somewhere or something and taken an enormous write off. How sad.

irked- I'll bet you're sorry to see them go. That is one beautiful collection! Would others be able to place "absentee" bids? I think there's something there Mark might like.....

irked - Get a list together of the reloading books and I'll see if there are any I need. I'm alway's trying to fill holes in my library.
profe51 - Last time I checked the Rock Chucker press was going for $109 brand new, the Rock Chucker Supreme Master Reloading Kit for only $239.95. The last Rock Chucker I got on ebay I only paid $53.00 for and it was local so I picked it up and didn't have to pay shipping.

Twig You probably can if you contact the auctioner here is his website with list of lot of other guns-- www.marshauctions.com He does do absentee bids as I have been at his auctions when he has had them.
It is a shame to sell them but sometime down the road something would have to be done with them anyway. Ms irked just wnats them to go to good home who will value them as much as she has. She has been responsible for them for last 16 years and may can breath a sigh of relief when she is not responsible for their safety and upkeep.
Mike I will make a list sometime this evening and post it here as to what is in the notebook binder and other reloading books. We sold a bunch about 6 weeks ago but still have some really neat ones that are vintage..

haven't looked on Ebay mikes, don't know why it never ocurred to me. The one I have is old and I haven't priced them in a long time. I see the kit is 250 at MidwayUSA, not bad really. Maybe I'll just get a new one and the kid can use the old. I'm not really much of a reloader so I don't want to spend a lot. It's really only 45's I ever load as there's nowhere within a hundred miles of me that stocks them. Thanks

profe51 - Some of the best prices I have found can be found at www.natchezss.com Natchez Shooters Supplies. That's where I quoted the above prices at. I order from them about 2 or 3 times a week and consider them my one stop shop for reloading equipment and supplies except used equipment and new supplies I get on ebay. You can order a catalog from them on their website at no cost. They have the best prices I have found and I don't think they have ever had anything on backorder. You name it for reloading odds are they have it.
edited to add: Well that's darn strange. The above link does not load and takes me to a vendio/messg/ www.natchezss.com page. If I type in the web address the page loads fine. Vendio must be on the blink. If you can't get the link to work just type in the url.

Mike I found it easier to take pictures of that notebook full of different magazines and books. Here is link to webpage I made with them on it. It is only of what is in that alligator looking notebook. I will go out to the shop and make short list of reloading books out there as I think there is only 3-5 of those..
Reloading book images X 34
Will post again on getting names of those other books. I hope you can tell with the images I did I did them so fast some are not up to my usual standard and not edited.

Sorry, doing other outdoor things (shooting) and been away from the computer. How much are you looking to get for them? There are a couple there I don't have. How much for the whole lot?

Are you talking about the notebook full of books or some of the other books? The notebook weighs around 6 something pounds. Haven't checked my emails to one I put on that web page so don't know if you emailed me or net yet will go look. Make offer I guess. LOL I am terrible at setting price off top of my head.
