Dear VM~ Tried to post about 10 times and I keep having major problems of one kind or another. Must be all that turmoil you are talking about! Noticed how many of us are going thru this right now.....
Well, I have complied and printed out everything you told me about me~aries, cap moon, cancer rising~once on very nice paper to save, once on junk paper to scribble on, and then drew a diagram to study.
Now, please repeat the name of the book to go find that will help understand some of this~I can't seem to find it here when I want it! The whole kit and kaboodle about which planets in which house and risings and accendings and trines and injuncts and squares and T's and N's etc~my God, I don't know how I will ever understand all this, let alone be able to call it forth in the way that you and JunqueMom do~you are all amazing!
Now, I noticed that not once do you discuss my aries birthdate in my entire reading~does thing mean it isn't very important? So the moon and risings and sun etc seem to be of more importance? Is that right? Very interesting stuff to me.
Also~funny enough, I have noticed a big change in me around the generous, high minded nature that you told me about~I have been trying to honor it so much more. Giving waitresses double tips~thanking people more, throwing in more goodies with my ebay sales, never passing a worthy collection container without a donation~not that it is such a big deal, but I am more aware of how I benefit by doing these things in so many ways.
Also, I am FEELING everywhere the winds of change and referring to it in my life and with those I love~I sense a return to the positive already and can't wait to see what the end of the month brings for all of us.
Now, a question~you have been mentioning physical traits and eating habits~for me, is there a best way to attack my own overeating and weight? I go from severe disinterest in food and thinness to eating everything in sight. Just wondering~

Thank you~first of all, you cannot begin to know how well you nailed my food issues~and you could not have possibly known that I am coming out of a looong bout of depression. Food is stress and anxiety relief for me and always has been.

Okay - this is for busybiddy and her little Scorpio, but it is really for my best friend for life who I will call B and anyone who has a Scorpio child. (note to Pisces - this is a sad story, you are sure to empathize to maybe you want to skip)
So B is my friend of nearly 20 years.
He is a Scorpio, he is extraordinary, and the respect I have for him is of epic proportions.
He is hugely talented and has transformed the lives of many hundreds of children over many years in a "Mr. Holland's Opus" kind of way but of course he is much better than the movie. More talented, more fascinating, more powerful, more charismatic and magnetic. Very simply, he is doing a bang up job with his life and this sums up my high opinion of him. They do not make people any finer.
Okay, so B is a gay man.
He has never known a closet, he and his family were aware of his homosexuality at a pre-teen age. His parents had a fit of course - true of the era and probably too often still true today. They shamed him terribly and tried various methods of changing his essence which were fruitless of course.
Now B forgives them the past. He forgives them because he is intellectually sophisticated and allows people to hold their own views. He has thought his way out of this.
IOW if you don't like gay people, he is not concerned about it. Very similar to how I feel about astrology. It is a waste of time to chase validation or approval from people for who you are. Cliche maybe, but it really is their problem.
Okay so we met and 15 years go by and one day I start haranguing him about not sending me a card (hope my memory is working and I get this right). I think it was my birthday and probably my Leo Venus sq his Scorpio laid into him.
Leo Venus is kind of like Lucy in the Peanuts strip. "Can't you see my natural beauty?" "Didn't you get me a nice card???" "Well.. didn't ya?"
For some reason I start in on him about "where is my damn card?" (I know, I know, but at least I am honest admitting it)
He tells me "XXXX, you know how hard that is for me."
I say something stupid like "which part is the hard part.." and he reminds me that he almost never sends anything.
This is right.
In 15 years, maybe a couple of Christmas cards, and a postcard. He thinks I know why already, but I don't.
He tells me that he can't write things down and then he tells me why.
Seems that he was keeping a journal when he was a kid. Writing, drawing, both - he did not elaborate.
His parents were trying to have him "fixed" and stuff so they came across this journal. First the read it, but they did not stop there. They took it a psychiatrist to have analyzed and they did not even stop there - they made COPIES and took it to SEVERAL psychiatrists. Maybe some air sign does not think this is a big deal, but to Scorpio, they have been stabbed in the chest, had the knife was twisted and then they were rolled over and stabbed in the back.
This invasion and betrayal nearly killed him.
He suffered immeasurably intense pain and it actually it did kill a piece of him because it is 30 + years later and he does not write anything down. See the pain of betrayal was so horrific that he swore "never again" and when a Scorpio cuts something off - they do not go looking for it later.
My point in telling this story is to warn parents and hopefully spare some kid. There is a loss here, but there is not even a way to measure it. My friend is a musician and he garners standing ovations for both his talent and his character.
When he talks, I listen and I wonder what did he have to say that will never be written?
This is the reason not to betray your Scorpio child. It will kill them.
Good reason I think.
Scorpio will be betrayed at some point in their life, this wound will be unavoidable, but as the parent, you can make sure it isn't you who inflict it.

Rawbunzel, Ha! The IO today took it upon himself to install MY new scanner, MY new software, on MY computer. Couldn't decide if he was doing it to irk me (possible) or trying to be nice (I don't need or want the help). I was just reaching for something sharp when I decided walking the dog would be a better bet. Is this what you are asking about? Or how crabby I feel when he wants to use MY car (4WD with studded tires) to go to the mountains, which I know is safer than his pickup? A story. Many years ago we lived in a rather conservative city. I shopped often at I.Magnin's. Requested a charge account. Was told it would be issued in Mrs. His Name, His Name. I had a fit, ended up in the store manager's office. After explaining to him, at length, the extreme error of his ways, a compromise was reached: the card read Mrs. My Name, My Name. Couldn't get them to drop the Mrs. Did I stop shopping there? You bet I did! Cut the card in half and mailed it to the headquarters with an explanation. Finally got a My Name, My Name card. Being a Virgo is not necessarily easy, but it sure can be fun!

Yes, it stabs the heart to read those words. As the relative of a young gay man who was tormented by people he considered to be friends - and then told by family that it was his fault... for being who he is - your story really touched my heart. He died of aids many years ago.
I think the pain of his illness never came close to hurting as much as the pain inflicted on him by never being allowed to feel comfortable in his own skin.
I'm sure your friend would be pleased that you shared that... maybe it'll wake someone up.

The computer is in my territory. When he does sit down at it he dang well better not mess with anything! I get so jumpy when he uses it! Really, out of my skin jumpy. My CAR? Surely you jest!!!! I do not like him to drive my car...I also do not want to drive his. I really hate it when he uses my coffee mug! Do you have two dining tables? I do.

Thank you, you have no idea how accurate you have been (or maybe you do ). You have given me some very important tools here (call them 24 kt. and diamond edged tools if you will) and I will use them. I am sleeping more than 2-3 hours at a time for the first time in ages. I am taking a totally different approach from now on. I am going to reach for
my destiny and use whatever I can to make it better. I am not going to be afraid. I guess in a large way the old nobs will die, but a new day will bring a new nobs. I can feel the possibility now. Thank you so much for this.

Just firms my belief that diary's are private and if my girls had wanted me to read them they would have put them in my hand. What they wrote was theirs to claim whether fantasy, fiction, truth, laughter or sadness and theirs to keep unless they chose not to.

Very Modern, I am not THAT bad! Actually, after we retired very early from serious careers with lots of travel, I found myself with this guy for more than 2 hrs. /day. I decided then that I didn't want to spend the better portion of the rest of my life in jail for Murder I, so toned it down a great deal.
Rabunzel, I think I am older and hopefully wiser. Stuff that used to make me completely nuts now doesn't even twitch my blood pressure. I just know inside that I am superior (grin).
That said, in the small north central Oregon city where we have moved, I have MY friends and lots of MY volunteer activities, so am not home all day stewing. Life is good.

The cleaning house is good.
Here is why.
Your health is tied to your Moon (emotions / home). Why? Because the Moon rules your body (Cancer rising) and is in the 6th house (Health).
Now here is another little key - this is the rub for you.
Cancer is moody. I mean MOOOOOOODY. It is here and then it is there and then over there...
Capricorn has little (nearly none) tolerance for emotion. Cap says "get your butt to work, I don't care how you are feeeeeeeeling"
So you start to see the problem here.
Capricorn represses emotion, which is quite obviously not a good thing, especially when you have Cancer in the same chart that cannot possibly quit feeling - but you have an option.
You have to work with the Capricorn - (yourself) and respect your emotions but also take responsibilbiy for them. This Capricorn can get behind. Cap only wants people to act like adults.
here is a bunch of info - put it together as you wish.
Now your Moon is in the 6th house and we are trying to satisfy her --- well she likes WORK. It is true. 6th house/ Virgo goes chaotic without purpose.
I don't know how much weight you would like to lose, but if it is a lot - first reaction of Cap is dreary and "oh noooooo" but when they decide (and ultimately they always do) to climb the mountain - they get energized from the very first step they take and once they are off the ground ( a week?) they are not apt to turn around and head down back over the ground they just covered.
Take your time, but think Cap - slow steady progress on health - and also "never lose the same pound twice" because lack of progress frustrates Capricorn terribly.
Capricorn likes goals! Set them. One thing about a Cap Moon is it loves the Virgo 6th house and Virgo loves Cancer (rising) and so this is your bridge from Cancer to Capricorn which OPPOSE in the zodiac.
Capricorn also likes discipline. HOWEVER, it is up to you not to let if override and deprive Cancer of any comfort and Virgo 6th house of HEALTH.
OTOH - you can not let Cancer take the wheel and eat a bunch of comfort food and deprive Capricorn of any control (result is depression) and Virgo 6th house of HEALTH.
The answer is to let Virgo run things here.
Virgo can discriminate, innately knows what is healthy, and cares for both Cap and Cancer.
As an adjunct - feed the moon via the rule breaking and the generosity - ie - it's nice aspects to Uranus and Jupiter.

I never know if I make sense.
Capricorn denies Cancer food.
Cancer says to hell with you and eats for comfort.
Virgo worries about it causing further distress.
Instead -
Capricorn sets healthy realistic goals.
Cancer agrees to COOK and eat healthy in trade off for not having to starve anymore.
They both agrees that Virgo runs the show.
Virgo blows the whistle every time one or the other gets to close to the line, and the sole criteria when you are eating is "is this heathy for me?"
No bad, no good, the focus on health.
This is not that horribly hard to do - you have every tool you need but you have to be conscious. Needless to say, if you get on top of this you will feel grrrrreat.
You may get more co-operation if when things get out of whack - Virgo hitchhikes the body and starts cleaning. Hell, that would motivate me!
Also, on the giving - it you want to nit pick about it - it is not necessary to give your stuff. In fact it is better to inspire others to give (this because Jupiter is in the 8th house - other peoples energy) and give large (Jupiter). Also, does not have to be "stuff". You volunteer an hour and get 10 other people to do the same.

I am struck dumb by what you have shared here.
Me: complusive about cleaning, eating or not eating, order and discipline, working out or not working out, no sleep or sleep all the time. Also, when stuff or people interfere with my course of action at any time, I turn into a merciless harpie! This includes anger at myself too~hence the depression.
My poor Virgo must be losing her mind!
