Gnight

Oh and both kids are on honor roll this semester.

I am afeared of the anvil still, but I know how to revel in it all. This kind of thing is fleeting at best.

I fly tho! and the flying and the memory of flying gives strength when stuff hurts.

VM, i have read this thread with great interest. I had my chart done by one of those Internet websites, but I think they just use a computer to throw it together. I would be interested in some human insight. Although I am a really boring person, so my chart may not be of any interest......

I thought I would ask first to send the info (and my SO's too?) as I felt it would be rude to not ask.

Thanks!

Hi magik87 - email to both addresses above and cross your fingers, both mails are acting screwy.

Yes, the scope you order on the web came from a software program most likely. There are at least 1/2 dozen of them on the market - you can buy the software itself for $95-500 or so depending on the author. If you got what was usual, then you have a list of paragraphs that contradict each other, and it is very hard to assimilate - I feel for you.
I look forward to seeing your chart and discovering for myself just how boring you are because I did not know there was such an animal, and so I am intrigued.

Maui and Zelda - I did see my picture up this morning and was completely flattered, pleased and stupefied.
Thank you both, I am a bit overwhelmed, even misty BUT I also need to cop at this point to the fact that I had this secret wish..
that you have made come true.

Should go without saying by now, but as usual, I am embarrassed of my own ego

junque - I see that zelda did post on the first few pages of this thread..
However, I did not know who she was at the time - I don't get out that much

magik87 you are not a bore.. I knew you were going to be full of bunk on that count and I was wondering how.
I am thinking that you said you are a bore because you have a Virgo Sun who does not feel they are very exciting, or possibly because the planets in your chart fall below the horizon and so you are a more private person than some.
Bore?
Puuuuuuuulease.
What you are is a firecracker. Even better. You are a smart firecracker.
I will prove it.

You have a Sag Moon, which I think I have said before is a supreme judge of character. Best in the zodiac.
It is the 5th house (Leo, children, fun, playful sex, creativity) and conjunct Mars in Sag so constantly hotted up.
Fire Moon in a Fire House, hooked up *the* Fire Planet - this screams "chivalrous" to me and very much on the go.

Okay, so not only do you not sit still your MIND races like a bat out of hell as well. This is because of your Virgo Sun (mercury ruled) in the 3rd house (Gemini, mercury ruled) but uh, uh, what is that next to your Sun????
Junque!
It is Pluto conjunct her Sun - so now we have a bit of mimigigi - a born researcher.
Think Pluto/Scorpio - uproots
3rd house, Virgo - information.

interlude

I remember at least 1 thing about every chart I have ever seen... 10 years after the fact. "oh yeah - I remember her. she had that Moon Pluto in the 10th..." LOL

end of interlude

What else?
You have a 10th house Saturn. This is a good place for Saturn (the best - his natural house) but tends towards conservative which is fine except when taken in context with the rest of your chart...
See, what I am afraid of here is that he's got ya. If not, then GREAT, but on the chance - I will type this out anyway, because you can't let this happen to your life.

He is the ONLY planet elevated in your chart and off my himself, and I betcha he would like to dominate.
How?
By saying tiresome things like "you are not good enough, not pretty, not desirable, not special (he is in Taurus the sign that deals with how you value yourself), and also conservative things like "pull yourself up by your bootstraps" which for a cardinal sign (a politician) - well that is fine, but for all this creative fire, and your sophisticated intellect - it really will not do.

On the mind - lets go back to that for a minute. Besides the Virgo in the 3rd which is without a doubt a person who reads and thinks and writes well - you have Jupiter conjunct MERCURY which means BIG MIND, expansive thinking, big ideas, etc.

Okay - so here where your chart starts to rock.
You have the BIG IDEA
You have the ENERGY (fire) to get going
You have the desire to work (Virgo)
and a strong desire to succeed (10th house saturn)
I think it is all there, yes/no? Everything you need.
Oh yeah.. and Pluto conjunct your Sun. Did I say STAMINA? Please. You can be up 5 nights in a row and be at your very BEST. (Virgo is cringing at this - but low in your gut you know it's true. You are sleepwalking through like UNTIL the chips are down.
And luck! You have luck too with the Sag.

Blah, Blah Blah, you have a Leo Venus and in the 2nd house (Venus house) to boot.

I gotta say, I think you will wind up very rich if you are not already.
There are about a million things that you would excel at.

So you don't think I am flattering you - I am not saying that you are not without challenges, or that you are leading, or have led a perfect life. What I am saying is that you have so many potent tools within reach - that you've no excuse not to master life, because the ability is there in spades. I would pick you for my team in 2 seconds, and the reason would be that I don't think you are going to lose
How honest is that?

afterthought..
what to do with 10th house Saturn?
That is who you send to the bank to get the loan you need to launch. He is perfect for that.
(Perfect is the Virgo word)

magik87 - your SO looks like an abstract painting to me, and I believe he/she may even appreciate the label - or at least not be furious over it.
Got a glob or that and a glob of this but it does not take long to see that it all relates.
It may not be smoooth, but it is not chokin' and sputterin' either.
If this person were a machine in motion, I would be compelled to stare. In part I would be waiting for something to snap and pop off, (which would not happen) but simultaneously marveling at how it all worked.
Much intricacy here - this is someone who will never stop surprising.

In spite of a exceedingly independent and detached presentation / first handshake, your SO has a very intense love nature and a psyche that never sleeps. This is generally a difficult combination. The Aquarian side denies ever seething for example, while the Plutonian side denies ever being detached. Both find each other so atrocious that 1/2 a life gets led while the rest gets projected.

In this case - the way it all falls, these two faces have a dialogue via a TRINE which is really quite unique an fortunate, but I would be surprised is he/she can take full advantage until 30 YO, and even more so post 35YO. Not that there is no benefit now, I just mean that full potential could not be realized until later in life.

This is all I want to write not knowing if this person is asking themselves, or you are asking about them, except for they look really good on the transit front.
He/She should try to buy a house in the next two years (or a second rental - if he/she already owns) if there is any way possible. It is time to build a base now and the universe will co-operate in bringing this about. I guess I will also add - that this is a person who will never be happy renting. I don't know the financial situation but I do know that if there is not money - he/she should start to save for a house TODAY because I see 1, 2, 3 ways this needs to happen.
For the short, the intermediate, and the long term. Tell him/her that they are building the base this next 2 years that will hold up the next 28 years of their life.
That ought to get their attention.
Good luck.

WOW!

and, uh, WOW!

ok, that is WAY more accurate than I would like to admit. Firecracker, huh? Well, I do have a temper but usually I keep the bottle rockets inside the bottle so they don't hurt anyone.....

And yes my mind does race. I get frustrated trying to type things out because my hands are too darn slow! And if i am really going on something it can take a couple hours before my brain will slow down to where i can sleep. And I love reading and accumulating tidbits of information and going on "treasure hunts" to find out about stuff. That has been a very useful trait over the years.

And the Saturn thing is scary. Because that does rule my life, ever since I was in grade school. Low self-esteem made for a very dark 5th-9th grade, you should see some of the poetry i wrote back then...... I do overthink things and talk myself out of a lot of stuff. I have this thing I do where I will find something i want in a store, grab it and then carry it around with me until i have convinced myself that I don't need it and put it back. I used to do a lot of writing, but i got tired of fighting the internal editor about what total crap I was putting on paper.

I have a couple major things that I really want to run with as far as business ideas. But I can't justify spending my baby's money (he supports both of us) when i don't really know 100% that it won't nosedive. I should go get a job but what I have been offered since we moved is so NOT want I want to spend 8 hours a day doing. I am a spoiled brat because he told me when he got this job that I could take my time and figure out what I really want to do and he is very happy with me just hanging around the house.

Sorry now I am rambling......

OK and as for asking about my honey, I was curious more than anything. He is gone for the week for work, but I think I will forward what you wrote.

The crazy thing is that we are planning on buying our own place and the time table is two years from last September. We want to get all our bills paid off and save up a down payment. I think seeing this may freak him out a little bit.

Thanks for sharing this.

okay magik87, it sound like you have regular Virgo troubles - the mind-facking yourself I mean (nod to plsmith)
You will probably suffer from that to some degree all your life, but you can recognize the propensity and tell yourself "forest not the trees, forest not the trees" now and then. I will tell you where the door out is, but you will have to use it.
Levitate, transcend, hyperspace, let it go, whichever of those you may be able to relate to. I know this is simple to write and more difficult for you in practice.

On the staying home - I am sorry, you have too much fire, and also too much a desire to achieve of your own to ever be completely satisfied living your life in support of someone else. Make that WAY to much fire, truly this will never do.
The Virgo would do it - sacrifice, but the rest of you, no way no how.
I appreciate that Virgo wants the [i]perfect[/1] job, but Virgo must appreciate that all this Fire needs a place to run and be seen or someone is going to get burned.

I do not think you are a spoiled brat, and this is a simple judgment.
If you were a spoiled brat you would spend SO's money left and right and ask for more on a daily basis ... see what I mean?
This is Saturn talking again..

You do have a true dilemma here magik87.

Stay at home and SO is happy at the moment (he has a Cancer Moon so he does like the idea of this) BUT

Saturn makes you feel like a sloth when you do, Virgo/Gem mind goes spinning out of control in a vacuum and all this fire which is Masculine gets PISSED off because it wants to have a life and be the STAR for that matter, to hell with supporting roles and so what you have is a pressure cooker.

Please don't take this as criticism because I don't mean it that way. I am also not trying to give you a hard time or thwart your relationship, because I can see the affinity - it is just that YOUR needs have to be considered alongside his.

He likes you at home, but do you like you at home? This is what I am asking.

What I am thinking is that you are attempting to subvert all this aggressive fire with your MIND which has got to hurt after awhile in a pressure cooker sort of way.

(Junque - Sag Moon conjunct Sag Mars within 1 degree in the 5th house. Inconjunct to Leo rising, also Venus in the Leo in the 2nd house.)

Point of all of this is to say - you cannot "think" all this fire away.
You cannot sacrifice it, you cannot tone it down, etc. etc. This would be akin to thinking away your arm or one of your feet. It cannot possibly be done, and even if you could - why would you?

You must offer an outlet or "temper" does not begin to describe it.

Think about FIRE.
It does not care to burn where it is told to, does it?
And what happens when you open the door to a room and there is fire burning behind it?
It is a matter of time before SO comes home to greet that!
Go run - take up kickboxing, something.. but you hafta hafta hafta get out of the house. Go run with your hair in the wind.
You are a wild horse on a performance enhancing drug who just happens to be able to think also..

I have invited my hair lady here.

I don't know if she will make it all the way from AOL (so far she is lost) but in case she does - this is me waving good to see ya!

She (and her entire family) have just survived (walked away from) a collison with a drunk driver @70 mph, and so I guess Pluto conjunct the rising is hard to kill.

junque, natal Leo rising, pluto conjunct.

Solar Return Sag rising, pluto conjunct AND Sun, Venus, Mercury, Mars in the 8th house.

Wow!

Good afternoon VeryModern.Did you hear from your Hair lady? She and her family must have the Angel ,in their 12th house. So luckey, to walk away from a bad wreck.Im happy for them.
I found some people with passion yesterday,
And it cost them another nickle.
Everyone ask's....Is there another auction,
On line to go to,Someone to compete with ebay.We all know the answer,And the answer sucks. So why wouldnt the sellers get to gether and start their own auction?
If every seller chipped in 25.00 in a escrow account,There would be another auction
house.OK....My math might be fuzzy,..Some would...Some would not...A place that advertized on the web and tv,All the time.
The problems would be voted on,Instead of heavy handed decisions,Or complete indifference. There has to be a fee to start out,To keep it rolling,And advertize more.
25 cents a pop wouldnt kill anyone, to keep the ball rolling. The only draw back,Would be personalitys.I think though people would make an effort ,to get along,Just to have that auction house we all want.
What you think? Is that too far fetched?

We do need a solution don't we junque?
Hmmm....
In RL you have to tote your stuff to the "swap meet" and pay to sell there. Ebay is like that but they keep raising the rent.

The alternative is to have a yard sale which gives a limited audience, but with technology there should be a way to link all the yard sales.

What if..

What if there was no central site?

What if there was just a "search engine" that searched all our "yard sales" which were hosted on our own dime?

Is this possible?

posted on January 17, 2001 10:52:42 AM new
VM, We would have to be found by all the search engines, not sure how to pull that off.
We need a tech for advice. If we go that route,We would all have to have a web site,And that would bogg down the searchs.
Some buyers out there are lazy and wont use the searchs. It would have to be a place in the face.(Did I just rhyme?) Wheres Diana?
I think my Jupiter is acting up.,

No more 5 or 7 top people to be made zilionairs,On our stuff. The money would come back to the sellers. If useing another site,They can make money....But not at our expense. Wish some people would come in and
tell me where we are off on this plan. Many minds build many good dreams.

junque - I really don't know the answer, but on the timing - like I wrote before..

Jupiter and Saturn will turn direct at the end of the month. It is like we are all mulling around and then this signals the sky yelling "PLACES EVERYONE!"

From there *everything* is going to start to move and then when both planets leave their shadows (April) we will be at cruising altitude.

Keep in mind that Mercury is Rx most of February.
IOW, I would strongly suggest that you find where you want to be and mark your spot after Jan 25 but before Feb 5, and above all - come to terms with the fact that nothing is going back the way it was (in our lifetimes).

I love the search engine idea. What if all of us contributed to create, fund & promote a single search engine for our individual sites?

Do you think the buyers would like the individuality of many different web pages...or is it the uniformity, rules and predictability that they like about eBay?

We'd need a central spot for feedback and info on deadbeats, etc.

toke - I was thinking of a "module" (for lack of a better word) that each person hosted themselves but that was uniform and accessible by a search.
What you would do is rent your module(s).

We should start a different thread on it.
