Hi, VM,
I just looked at my brother John T's wheel chart again...don't you think he is just sort of covered in Cancer and Capricorn? That has got to mean...something, I really ought to get the book you all have been mentioning, I've avoided Hastings for so long though...well there might be a "cat" book-store on the plaza.

Eve the Moon Pluto conjunction in the 12th is more intriguing than the Cap/Cancer struggle.
If you are going to read, read Moon Pluto, and you will find yourself facinated.

Hi VM ~don't know if you've gotten my email but please proceed....
This past summer at our regular restaurant, my son rushed to claim an in the corner chair (for the millionth time)and I asked him why he was obsessed with sitting with his back to the wall or in a corner so he could survey everything around him. His answer was that he didn't know but he was extremely uncomfortable sitting anywhere else in a room full of people!
His moon is in Scorpio.
And boy does he fret when he can't sit with a wall to his back. He especially frets with people directly behind him.

In otherwords, all that Cap Cancer stuff just APPEARS strange to the eye? and isn't significant in any other way?
My mom's on the other hand ( Lucy) all I can see we have in common is the Gemini Venus thing.
Facts about her:
invented martyrdom AND passive agressive all in the same nanno second/simultaneous type deal.
However she does have a sense of humour that appreciates my sense of humour.

Eve - of course it matters, there is a huge conflict there. I just find the Moon Pluto more intriguing. It is almost like the other is a diversion from the real deal in the 12th house.
dejavu - I am not really sure what you are looking for with the charts. Scorpio Moon has an emotional need for intense experience. This is their "food" to a large extent. Anyway - I did change the times on your charts but did not feel I needed to correct anything I wrote last time.

Yes I figured it meant something, didn't mean to sound like the total moron high school drop-out 8th grade education hick that I am.

Hah! Just got off the phone with a bud in Alamagorda. She's Taurus - so I read your food stuff to her. She died laughing. She said that even as we spoke she was eating a chunk of cake that she had squirreled away from the husband and kids until they all got out of the house this a.m. She even made sure that the extra piece was the one from the corner of the cake - more icing. LOL
She says she thought everyone hid the good stuff under the rice.

One time I was dating this Taurus MOON (which is worse than the sun regarding food) and I baked him some cookies. Actually I baked them for him every few days and so he is eating these (chocolate chip) 4 in the morning, takes 4 to work and 4 in the evening. He was limiting himself to 12 cookies a day and the point here is that there is not a cookie shortage. He was 40 YO although it does not sound like it, does it?
Anyway - so he takes his cookies to work, and tells me that the people he works with were talking about his cookies.
"what did they say?"
"that they look good?"
"did you give them one?"
"no"
"why not?"
"They're mine."
LOL!
Okay, so I told this story at a party where I was doing astrology. I was putting peoples charts up and chatting and stuff and so when I tell this story this gal just turns BEET RED.
Then she confesses.
"I do that."
She says that she had a big tin of some type of rich fudge or whatever (a Taur would remember this part of the story) and that it was huge and she had it at work with her, but could not bring herself to share. She said she just could not do it because it was HERS. She was not justifying she was embarrassed.

Food doesn't seem important to me. Although I could eat my weight in seafood anytime anywhere. Is that a Pisces thing or just me?
No, I'm not having to scroll? Must be a glitch?
Not paranoid anywhere else but here!

Hey, VM~it's me again~the pondering ponderer!
I have been doing my chronic searching thing in hopes of finding out some more about how to take all this information and use it to plot a plan and a path of action. I see so much here~~((talking about my reading that you so gave me here))~~ in what to watch for and so much understanding of where I am.
I can't find much "out there" that is helping me. You have provided more than I had any idea even existed~but I am greedy for more!
Now, maybe my problem is that there isn't any problem specifically that I am wondering about~I just want to know how to be the best MimiGigi I can be. And~to move out some of the negative traits that get in my way.
Maybe astrology is not where I can find this?
Thank you again~you rock!

hiya mimigigi - how about I tell you the exact first imminent thing on your plate?
Besides the melting fear thing because that is a slow process and does not require anything besides faith on your part. You sound to me like you want a job to do, like you want to work, so for that we look at Saturn.
Saturn is moving into Gemini from Taurus April 21st. This is highly relevant to the mutable signs - Gemini especially, but also Virgo Pisces and Sagittarius - any planets in you chart in these signs.
Okay - so you have Jupiter in the 8th house @ 0 Pisces which squares 0 Gemini.
IOW April 21-30 Saturn will be T your Jupiter to the exact degree.
Okay - so during Saturn transits, life slows down and gets real concentrated. People whimper a lot during Saturn transits but the fact is that it only becomes excruciating when a person just cannot grasp the lesson they are supposed to learn any other way.
You drive drunk and nothing happens, and you know you are lucky.
Next week you drive drunk and you almost get in a wreck but you narrowly escape and you know you were lucky.
Next week you drive drunk and get stopped, but the cop lets you go. You have no explanation for why but you know you were really lucky.
Did you learn anything yet?
No?
Okay, next week you drive drunk and you get stopped and you go to jail overnight and you have a court appearance scheduled.
Got your attention?
No?
Drive drunk next week and holy cow, there is another cop and you get stopped and you are cited again and your attorney tells you that you are screwed come court time.
Ready to take responsibility?
No?
Okay, next week you drive drunk and you get in a accident and someone is killed.
Are you in pain yet?
I hope so.
You are a thick sonof a B.
When Saturn comes around your gig is up. You will "grow up" and do the right thing or things will crumble around you at an increasing rate.
This is an old story, and we all know it.
saturn T = karma time
Now - before I forget - Saturn's purpose is not to ruin everyone's good time, and there is always a high reward for acting with integrity. In the example above - hopefully this person grows up and gets sober, and perhaps they would not have done this any other way, so you could say these experiences saved their life.
Okay - back to personal to you.
Jupiter is of course a benevolent planet.
interlude
This is going back to Silk Moth - your "frustration" is T saturn sq your Mars and Moon. Saturn will act as a brake on your Marsy energy (fighting and action) which is supremely frustrating.
You will not be able to pi op off and GO GO GO, Saturn will only allow careful mature action. This can be as gross as a women make to lie in bed during pregnancy, or more subtle, but the consequences of not doing as you are supposed to are severe, which is why most people do the right thing, and believe me you will know exactly what you need to do.
end of interlude.
Okay - so mimigigi - there are very good things that can come of Saturn Jupiter because of their natural relationship (I wrote about this a couple pages back) - but here is the upshot.
The 8th house is associated with psychological complexes, and in case I am not sure here - I see that your N Jupiter is opposed by Pluto which is also associated with Scorpio and the 8th house.
This means you are too work on your psyche. Obviously you are willing to do this, you have mentioned it in other posts. Because we are talking Jupiter, it will be your perspective that needs work, and because N Saturn is in the 7th (partner / marriage) this will be the stage. Yes, this is the same Saturn that is being dismantled, which very frankly is why I think this has you confused a bit. Double whammy, and remember Saturn and Neptune don't know what to do with each other.
Okay... besides psyche - the 8th house is also about sex and death - and so your perspective about these areas of life (basically we are talking TABOO here) will also receive the treatment - and again, the stage is the 7th house.
How does that translate?
Questions like "how do I use sex to have power in a relationship?"
Hmm..
Provocative, eh?
The thing with the 8th house is that is has to do with an exchange of energy bodily fluids or belongings, whatever.
You need to learn about your part in these exchanges.
Puke it up and clean it out. Jupiter wants to act with a high mind at all time and so if you compromise that to try to glean power (?) this is the time to understand why.
One last note.
The 8th house likes to die in a metaphorical sense.
It likes to rip out the ROOT.
This is not some little prune job going on, so don't be shy
In the end you have one of those weeded gardens with ultra fertile 8th house soil.
Oh yeah the dates...
T Saturn is currently retrograde, and you are going to have a hard time doing much more than stewing for a couple more weeks, but at the end of the month - the heat is on and you can expect to progress.
In the meantime, figure you are "incubating".
Also, T Saturn will pass your N Jupiter dates above BUT it will not clear your N Pluto until July and later it goes Rx again and stations (sits and spins and drills it all home) @ 8 Virgo (the exact degree of your Pluto) most of Jan - Feb and Mar 2002.
This first will be most personal though.
Oh, and about these dates..
The pressure comes in advance of the exact aspect, as the square is approaching. By the time it is exact you are merged with the energy..
What is probably going on now is that there are some things you need to look at and having trouble grabbing it all. When Saturn turns direct (end of the month) this will get supremely clear and clearer and clearer until it is in your face. This is the concentrated experience I mentioned. This is how it get delivered.
edit to fix a BOLD spelling error.
The rest can stay

hi gravid - I already answered that.
It correlates with the conjunction of Jupiter and Saturn which occurred last year. Nothing to do with the numbers, that is just coincidence.

Bless your heart~now I will be up all night figuring this one out!
I would so love how to enjoy the spinning in place right now~I sense that could get lots out of this if I only could relax and quite pushing here.
I already know the ultimate outcome of all of this~I just already know and I can't believe that I already know where this is going to lead~but I also know that there is no stopping it! (did you understand that??!?LOL)
I promise I won't drive drunk~lol!

"careful mature action..." hmmmmm.
Okay, are you seeing any remedies against procrastination? I think Saturn's winning at the moment.
-------
Here's a thought I had earlier in the day.
This forum - Internet message board - seems to me to be a perfect place to explore phenomena like astrology. Some of the criticisms I've heard have been along the lines of: the reader is gaining information from the sitter's appearance and body language, or knowledge of the sitter's history. I'm sure that's true with certain "psychic" readers, especially those who charge by the minute. <g> But here, there can be no contamination by appearance, body language, or other outside information. VeryModern doesn't even know the names of those she is reading; only date, time, and place of birth.

Silk Moth - I probably shouldn't have tossed you in there and been so lazy.
Your Virgo Mars is ready and willing to work, but it is exactly opposed by Moon in Pisces who says the Pooh thing "This is serious, I must have an escape" and wants to laze around. The Pisces thing per Michael Lutin "In 100 years none of this matters anyway.."
Cross purposes of course, and Saturn will T both from Gemini which will have you working on this dilemma.

Good heavens, you weren't lazy... I am having trouble believing your generosity in giving so much of your talent and time. (yes, yes, I am learning, it's the Leo thing; you're enjoying the limelight. )
In regard to the procrastination, yes I know what I should do, and I know it's my own fault. I've agreed to teach some classes that don't particularly interest me, and I am having a great deal of trouble getting motivated, getting lesson plans ready, and so forth.
Pooh was right. "Oh bother!"
I just have to make myself get it done.

LOL to that.
I have a Leo VENUS.
She does not work, are you kidding?
She is pissed off about all this writing.
I am wasting her precious time. She could be in the damned Jacuzzi at the gym being seen and flippin' her hair
My motivation to write these last weeks is complex. I understand about 2/3 of it and the rest is a wild card.
Okay, I am sandbagging.
I understand 80%.
Anyway, I am glad to be doing it. I appreciate the opportunity and it makes me feel good, but for reasons you may not imagine.
On the other, it is lazy (and dum) to write about 1/2 an aspect so that it makes it impossible for someone to know what you are talking about. That is a problem here. I can think and talk a lot faster than I type and so I just get sick of waiting for my fingers and skip chunks.

I apologize Modern - I had read the first few pages then later when I saw the other thread came back and asked without reading all the pages I had missed.

no problem gravid, and I am sorry if I sounded rude, because I did not mean to. I must of been punchy because if I had any grace at all I would not have mentioned it. It was a small bit and easy enough to repeat.
I don't know what to do about this long thread because there is so much info here now. If I started a new one it would be fresh, but lack depth and history and my writing would have to become repetitive which holds low or no appeal to me.
At this point, I am wishing for a way to index, but that is very nearly math and so I am kind of in a hapless situation here, and not sure what to do.
However, I do expect to figure this out after Jupiter and Saturn turn direct

Oh, and the way you have to scroll to read anymore is really beat. Is that because of the length? Does anyone know?
Thanks

This is ONE LONG THREAD!!! Wow! Shows that what you say is totally cool, VM. Like I said...you need your own forum here in AW, lol.

Maui: I just finished it. A really good intro, goes over the sun signs, moon signs, ascendents, what the houses are and what the birth planets in them mean. Some of it's funny too!
Any more book recommendations, VeryModern? My curiousity is whetted.
