regarding eating in restaurants...

Leo wants to sit where they will be seen by the largest number of "subjects"
Capricorn wants the best table in the place - matter of status
Gemini wants to sit next to "interesting people" at the next table so they can strike up a conversation when they become bored on their date which is inevitable
Taurus is there for the food, and will choose the *most comfortable" chair regardless of position (and if there are no comfortable chairs - they will never be back)
Virgo never sits "first". Even if they have a preference they would subvert their desire for the love object.

and so it goes.

Scorpio - back to the wall, back of the room, also likes to live up high so they look down on people but far more importantly - so that no one is looking into their "backyard".
Privacy counts.
It is Leo (square to scorpio) who sunbathes on their deck nude or nearly nude in plain view of the neighbors

oh, and plsmith, the reason you are excused and the other Taur around here and getting slammed with transits is that your degrees are very early in Taurus (Sun@ 0 and venus @1) and so you have been through this.

You do have Mercury at 18, but it is so nicely aspected - I have the idea that I am this odd person coming along with the news about being done and fabulous and that is that.

Good afternoon VeryModern,I got caught up in
STUFF,Its time for separating papers for State and Federal taxes.(I hate that)Wish they would let me guess how much I made,And
spent. I was so pleased to see people coming back in to talk.
My crazy cousin, Juanita(years of observation
Gives me the right to say)Paid 150.00 to get the main chart done,With standard info. Then she
Will call the astro.every 6 months and has to
Pay a little more for any indepth info.
Nothing at all, what you give to everyone here.Just wanted to let you know,It is very appreciated by all.And you are so giving with
Your gift. Some people get astrology and getting their cards read,Confussed,Having read cards(entertainment purposes)I would caution anyone to go this route. The reader has no idea where the info comes from. And 9 times out of 10,It is wrong.I can get down and heavy on that subject.(there is a cleaning process to go thru)Hope this isnt a bummer for someone to read.I get heavy at tax time.

Wowsa, VeryModern, that's quite a plateful of meat and taters, isn't it? I want to type a lengthy response to all you posted but we've just been informed that our area is going into "rolling blackouts" at 4pm (thanks once again, California PG&E, for not knowing how to play the power futures market! ) and I don't want this new computer to get hurt. (Bad enough my "comfort" is threatened, heh... )
For now I will simply say THANK YOU once again -- not only for the enormous amount of time you've devoted to my chart but also for the delicious, anecdotal way you've presented its facts. I think you're a brilliant riot

I'll be back when the power thing is stable...

hiya junque - I am glad to see the people here too!
On the tarot - I will put my neck out there with yours and say the same. I have had my cards read many times and have never gleaned any info at all, so I would have to go 10 out 10 readings worthless.

The thing about cards, or runes or I Ching is that they are a tool I suppose, but my sister who is actually psychic says they are without any real use, "unless you want to practice" whatever that means.

(First time, my brother, 17 at the time was getting off a plane and she said "He is going to the hospital, he may die, and there is nothing we can do."
4 hours later he had his *first* epileptic fit while playing basketball - went to the hospital and lived)

Anyway - I have seen her pop off with outrageous information and she has been right so many times that there cannot be any possible denial that she can do this *but* she will be the first to tell you that it is not reliable. She will also tell you that astrology is, and add "especially if my sister has your chart" . She will continue with a jab about all the messed up things about my personality that make this so

Anyhow - I am trying to hand out keys here and as painless and as amusing a manner as possible and I don't know any reason why except for that I have them.
It does please me. My husband is glad that I am writing.

VM - it's me, again. By the way, I'm a Gemini and I have to sit facing the door in a restaurant so I can see who is coming in.

I went to see the house tonight. Remember, "THE HOUSE"? Well, my husband who is NEVER sick, is in bed with the flu and I had to go alone. My daughter said "Geez, Mom, don't you think that's a sign?" Anyway, we're NOT moving. This house was like a Home Interiors or Princess House showroom. WAY overly decorated in that fluffy country decor. The two carpet colors in the house were RED and BLUE. The house is 25 years old and needs TONS of work. So, you were right. We're staying home! Thanks for the advice. Now, could you ask your sister when my daughter will be moving out?

Okay Silk Moth - lots of Libra here!

Libra rising, (Public loves a Libra rising - PRETTY) Mercury in Libra (smooooooth talker, pleasant voice, well mannered), Neptune in Libra ("drunken" love)and Saturn in Libra (exalted placement means serious about this love and beauty thing).

Okay - this would be enough to be "fetching" but this is only the beginning.

Pisces Moon (slllinky) in the 5th house (fun sex leo) opposed by Mars in the 11th (experimental) house to constantly hot up

interlude
5th house = sex for recreation
8th house = sex for procreation
EOI

Is that all?
No.
We got ruler of the chart VENUS conjunct PLUTO in the 11th which I must say gives you a highly charged love life, and this have NOTHING to do with white gloves Libra love. You decide who you want and you draw them to yourself -- into your web..

Pluto w/ Venus

Obsessive love
Love of power
powerful love
Healing love
Love you to death

Silk Moth with apologies to your Libra, I would have to say that falling in love with you is a life changing experience. Not just the beloved, but for your self. People die and are resurrected via an exchange with you. Very powerful in spite of your appearing light and airy and even eccentric now and then.

Now the really nice thing about your Venus Pluto is that it is extremely well aspected, and so although you have no doubt had some EXTREME relationships you have a very good ability to get the best out of this most potent combination.

I gotta tell you who it makes me think of.
Calvin Klein.
Never an original idea, but holy cow does he have power.
Do you know some idiot kidnaped his daughter many years ago.
What a fool.
You do not take the daughter of a person with 4 planets in Scorpio or is it 5, I can't remember.
Stupid putz.
Klein caught the guy (himself) and it has not been made public to my knowledge but I cringe when I think of what he must of done to him when he did.
Suffice to say - i think this guys daughter stealing career ended that day.

Point here, is that you love with every cell in your body. No wishy washy Libra. You are fixed in this arena and if you are 'engaged" - well people best not mess with people you love. You are highly protective - and it is like if anyone is going to do anything to your loved one, it is going to be YOU!.

That is a joke, but not really Hopefully you know what I mean.

Okay - enough with this - the other thing is you have a 9th house Jupiter in Gemini, and so this is the LEARNER part of you.
Planets in the 9th "seek expansion" and especially Jupiter - who is in it;s own house and so quite delighted with the situation.
Jupiter is trine your Neptune Saturn conjunction in your 1st house which means you can both discipline (Saturn) yourself to focus on education, as well as take information you glean on the earthy plane (via gemini) to a higher level - Sag, and then ultimately to Neptune which basically takes info and via the trine makes it magic.

Oh yeah..
Sun in Virgo in the 12th... I did not even get there - what was I thinking?

Anyway you have to serve. NO DOUBT about it. If you have kids, consider this duty met. If not, go find some..
No really..

Virgo / Pisces
6th house / 12th house
This is the serve or suffer axis.

You cannot have a 12th house Sun in Virgo and escape this.

one ps..
On the intense love - this is Venus we are talking about - and so besides personal relationships - these energies are applicable to all things you find beautiful and desirable. This same power I mean. Power to transform.

WOW.

I mean.... WOW.

Much much much to think on, there alone, but let me tell you, a great deal of this is dead on.

One anecdote:

Almost twenty years ago, I was very troubled in my soul about driving people away. I tried very hard to get along with people, but I always seemed to rub them the wrong way and end up making them uncomfortable, pushing them away, or whatever. (Not lovers, particularly, just people I dealt with in my daily life.) I was talking (okay, whining) to a dear friend who was also an Anglican priest. He looked at me over his glasses, said, "You know what the problem is, don't you? You've zapped them. You run normal speed at 10,000 volts and the rest of the world's on 120."

Oh, Muriel, I know. I knew it as soon as I heard Yoda speak the first time.

As a matter of fact, I hopelessly embarrassed my husband in the theatre. I punched him and fairly shouted, "That's FOZZIE BEAR!" Got lots of strange looks from the other folks in the audience, and mutters of "sheesh, can't take you anywhere," from him.

lol

Well you are an intense piece of work Silk Moth, but all this Libra veneer..
It reminds me of a story perhaps it will give your some insight.

There was this intense gal sitting in a restaurant. She was reaming this guy out. Out and down and backwards. She was intensely angry, but she was talking low and slow and focused and you got the idea that she could very easily kill him. She was leaning in and probably describing how she was going to dissect his ass.

Okay, so the waiter comes up to the table to offer more coffee
( bad timing twit) <~~ see plsmith, you are gifted.

And she looks up in the most pleasing pleasant way possible and says (WITH A LILT even) sweeeeet as sugar like a southern belle "no, thanks". She smiled and raised her eyebrow and her voice was like HONEY.

That was when I knew she was a Scorpio with a LIBRA Mercury (talking planet).
LOL!
People are a trip - I love 'em all!

The waiter moved on and she went back to the guy.

Well, the total change of tone to the waiter would be almost automatic for me, but I doubt I would have reamed out the man in public. I've learned to be very afraid of the intensity of those negative emotions.

I do have two children, both Tauruses, so it's probably a good thing I have all this intense love and power, no? <g>

And I am an artist and a teacher, so there is the beauty and service thing. I very much enjoy passing on the skills and appreciation I've accumulated.

I won't go into details on the 5th house/8th house thing, but let's just say your reading is right on.

Leading question: Do you see indications of a recent coming into power?

Silk Moth, you are a powerful artist and a powerful teacher.

You would not ream out the guy in public because you lack a Leo Venus or rising perhaps
Leo is kind of exhibitionist and high drama.

Anyway - what is on tap?

Current thing is frustration. You want to go and the brake is on. This will persist through May - there is really nothing that is going to stop this. IOW, if power (which I feel you already have) comes, you will be frustrated with it.
So I guess my answer is that whatever you feel is coming - I don't think you will enjoy it much until you clear May. This is when whatever is restricting you moves out of your way.

Bobbi - I am glad you did not buy that stinkin' house.

Oh -- Silk Moth, you do have a Jupiter Return coming in June 2001. You may get a gift there. Problem with saying this is people think they are getting cash (it is possible) when more often they are getting an improved perspective / future / horizon. It is wise to realize that the latter is potentially much more fulfilling.

I tend to look at things symbolically anyway, so I won't read that as meaning wads of greenbacks.

It's interesting that you say May as the end of the blockage. There is an event in May that I have been hoping will lead to good things professionally. Now I know it will and can work confidently toward that.

Wow.

My head is spinning and I feel more energetic than I have in... well, months!

We are back to a Stage Two Power Alert now...

VeryModern, everything you wrote regarding my chart rings true, and I *am* pleased to learn that it's a planetary conspiracy that routinely divests me of my "stuff" and not a sign that I need psychotropic medication.
Equally glad that it's that facking Aries rising causing all the fights (and you'll never know how funny it is that you snuck dcj's name into my chart! ) ... yes, my Taurean side wants harmony, peace, love -- and would like nothing better than to lie down and eat potato chips for the rest of my life. But that rat-bustard Aries won't let me!
(LMAO at the killer rabbit, btw. )
This has been a delightful, insightful experience and I truly thank you for sharing your gift and your wonderful humor -- heh, of all the things I "covet" laughter is uppermost on the list. Blessings to you

Junque, I don't see how we could've been anything BUT friends seeing as how you went to such great lengths to save me from my Aries Warrior mode that day with krs! (Ya coulda TOLD me he was your son, though... )
Anyway, it's always my pleasure to see you on these boards and I hope you are well -- you're still funny as hell!

Hi VM - Great stuff here... you certainly have a way with words!

I don't know how often you get a chance to talk to your Pisces/Psychic sister but wonder if you could ask her if there are any books she can recommend to a fellow Pisces? Or, maybe you know of one already? Also, I'm curious - has she ever mentioned how she learned to control/put it all in perspective?

Hahaha! at the thing you're surmising
