kitsch1 - still waiting on your data, will do what I can to illuminate.
lotsafuzz - I am chasing your chart.
It is a thing in motion and I am trying to get my timing timed so I can jump on like a merry go round and take a ride - file a report while in transit - and then hop back before I get too dizzy.

G'night VM????????? Arggghhhh! This means I have to wait...... and I told God I was through learning patience! LOL
Oh well, I guess even the RT Goddess must sleep sometime. G'night VeryModern... sleep tight and I hope you don't get too dizzy on the merry go round we've set up for ya!
Kitsch I wasn't blowing smoke - really - I want you to think about what you've accomplished.... Just from what little I've read here I know you're stronger than you realize!

Ah, but when our Goddess returns, she will be full of wonderful insights, just like Sheherazad(sp?), weaving magic into the stars that she reads for you.

mybidness,
I know you arent blowing smoke. It is not strength tho it is just moving always slowly moving forward. I had to accept help. To me accepting help was the hard thing. Accepting and asking for help is what takes strength. Staying and ducking and pretending is the easy way.

This is for the AW lurker K who has a son.
kitsch1 - I have your number, but these two are going up front because they are time sensitive.
K- you came to the right place, I am glad you wrote, I got answers - here they come.
Okay, you and your son have much in common - very close - very clan bond. He keeps to himself, and you do the same. Please do not take this critically because that is not how I mean it. Hopefully become clearer as I write, why I say this.
You are feeling pressure about work right now because of a Saturn transit which always forces a person to do the right thing. I can see that you sickness is real, but I can also see very clearly that you have an emotional need to work. (Moon in the 6th). T Saturn is crossing your Taur rising which is basically giving your the ability to control your body and insisting that you use the opportunity.
As it transits your first house for the next 2 yrs or so you will find that you become very serious about working on yourself. Your "job" will be to take the wheel back.
Let's look backwards..
Saturn has been T your 12th house and I have typed until I am blue about it by now.
This translates to NEBULOUS (12th house) FEAR (Saturn). As it crosses into your first house it is on fire. It has arrived! You go from having no control to having complete control and you will be compelled to use it. Remember that the ascendent is where it all ends and starts again. Anytime a planet crosses the ascendent you get a new start. You are reborn and the timing for this is NOW and so the steps you have taken are absolutely correct.
Okay - now flip to your son.
He ain't going to "work" if you ain't goin' to "work".
You are joined.
If you take another year - he will take another year.
Here is his deal.
You are correct it is not a problem of intellect, not by a shot. Your son is no doubt smart enough but he is frustrated and at the moment somewhat trapped, but he is about to get a very serious opportunity from his mother.
(The astrology - your ascendent is 29 Tau, conjunct 29 Tau Venus (you must be outrageously beautiful btw) - his midheaven is 27 taur - Jupiter conjunct 27 taur and T Saturn in the sky is a 24 Taur and will hit both your degrees by April and do what it does which is straighten this out!)
little note - this is obviously already happening in that he is signed on after school, this is Saturn (work responsibly) coming N Jupiter (education, expansion opportunity) and you have launched a job search.
Anyway - here is how this goes.
You are going to be working on yourself. (1st house) This is a bit greedy and it should be.
He is going to be working on pulling it all together or he takes a public fall. (10th house)
You, with your new found Saturn in the 1st house Big Dad sternness, tell him ONE time what he needs to do regarding school and what the consequences will be if does not i.e. failing. Tell him what you told me. That you don't care one way or the other.
Tell him the truth.
"You are young and can repeat 7th grade if you feel you need to. If you would like to go to 8th grade next year, then chop chop because click click click".
After that you leave him be. No more coddle, no more plead, no beg, no badger.
See, you mean what you say, this other gig is up (and K it is up).
I betcha he works his butt off, and if he doesn't then this is HIS failure not yours.
Make sure he understands that too.
You two are going to have boundaries like you have not seen in a while and to the great benefit of both of you.
Okay - so the other thing with him is his level of frustration is high, and I am afraid he will need to cope with this all his lifetime, so he needs to find a way.
First thing is he is very FIERY but simultaneously prone to stay close to home and be self contained too - which is a hard mix for fire that wants to move. Further, his Mars is in Aries (looooooves it there) in the 8th house (grrrrrreat). This is really a superior and outstanding placement - like a fast car living in a place made for driving BUT the problem here is that there is a Square from Saturn which acts like a big thumb / a holding back. How you would like to live with a motor running but a huge foot on the brake?
If it is not specifically addressed, you find anger than cannot be expressed which is always painful and sometimes dangerous. Energy like this needs expression, and the perfect
(your son is a Virgo Moon, and rising - this is why no dummy by the way, and so why I use the word perfect)
solution I can think of is some time of martial art.
Lots of reasons, here they are.
It is a sport for the Aries Mars
It is a fighting sport for the Aries Mars
It is competitive for his Aries Mars
It requires supreme control for the Saturn
It takes a long time to master Saturn
It requires focused energy for the 8th house
It is a spiritual sport for his Sagittarius Sun
It is "foreign" for his Sagittarius Sun
It has a guru teacher for his Sagittarius Sun
It is foreign for his Jupiter on the midheaven (LUCKY for him)
It is something self contained for his Virgo
It is play and work mixed for his 5th house Saturn.
Yep -this would be a good pick. Change his life in fact.
Just FYI - the 2 1/2 years you mention in your post is the time frame that saturn has been T your 12th..
posted on December 31, 2000 04:51:35 AM new
One more thing K.
Regarding your son's Virgo Moon on his rising (body). Make sure he gets healthy food. Pure food, over comfort food. This will work enormously in his favor.

okay kitsch1 that last guy was a Sag. I can see why you picked him. Sag is a fire sign and you have Venus and Jupiter in Aries (fire) in the 5th (Leo, fire) plus there is an affinity between Sag and Pisces because they share rules Jupiter highmindedness, plus Jupiter that is hooked to your Venus is the ruler of Sag.
There you go.
But.
Sag leaves.
interlude
They allllllways leave. They leave for a day a week a month a year or forever. If you choose, a sag, you have agreed to marry a wild horse. Now wild horses do not much like to be contained, and so if you build a corral you best leave the gate open (WIDE open) or that horse will jump the fence and very likely be lost forever. OTOH if you leave the gate open they will travel a ways and come back but only because they now they can leave again.
EOI
Okay - so you have been alone because of a Saturn transit in the 7th house (Venus, love, the partner). Saturn wants you to get serious about this, and so you are. Saturn stays in a house 2 1/2 years give or take, and so you are having the opposite transit of the last gal K,and 1/2 way done.
~~~~~
K, transit in the 1st house "self"
kitsch1 transit in the opposite house, 7th, "the partner"
~~~~~~~
Here is how it works.
When Saturn first enters the 7th house, it will deprive the individual of love in some way. This is to make them get serious about what they want and what they are going to offer in the way of a partnership. Now a person like you gets snapped up within minutes of being available on the love market for reasons too many to list and so I think you know not to put yourself out there until you have a plan - whish is what you are trying to gather now - right?
I have a few things to say.
First, there is no reason that you cannot have am excellently beneficial partner. As a matter of fact, your chart PROMISES one (junque - she has Taurus on the 7th, ruler Venus conjunct Jupiter in the 5th, plus part of fortune in 7th).
2nd - your Moon is in Libra which is going to be happier paired off.
3rd you have strong emphasis on the 4th / 10th house which is the parental axis / home and family and you want a nuclear type one although I admit this does not comes as easily as the love (which you can get by sneezing).
Okay - so what is the problem?
mybiddness got this right. here is my version.
Your feelings of being overwhelmed are real. It is not only the Pisces Sun, but you have Neptune in Scorpio on your rising sign which makes you permeable squared.
Further, you have your Pisces sun in the 4th house (Cancer) which btw explains why you have the people over and then retreat - Cancer the crab and the 2 1/2 day cycle...
HOWEVER
and it is a big however -
you have outer planets Pluto and Uranus conjunct and opposite your sun and you MUST own your own power.
This will not be easy.
When you have two planets together in a chart they work in tandem, they have no choice.
When you have two planets opposing they pull a person in 2 directions, like Eve's drunken Neptune always calling.
Because this is not easy to integrate, what happens is that the individual lives one side of the equation and finds another person to project the other onto.
In your case, you live in the 4th house (home, family mother), Sun in Pisces (I am very sensitive and overwhelmed) and project the other which is nothing short of OUTRAGEOUS POWER
Now, because the outrageous power is in fact YOURS you cannot exist a lifetime on the other end and so occasionally you slide to the other side and display your stuff and in your case this would be public.
This is probably plenty for you to contemplate - so here is the condensed version.
You have the absolute promise of a hugely beneficial generous partner in your chart.
You must recognize that you are a powerful force of nature in total command in spite of your feelings of being overwhelmed.
As an aside, everyone born in 1966 has this Pluto Uranus conjunction somewhere in their chart and astrologers the world over are watching you. No kidding. You people are going to change our world.
So easy on the "I can't get out of bed..."
The last thing I would say is that you will very probably hook up with someone during Saturn transit of your 7th and it will be no joke. The karmic partner. You will find him now because when Saturn goes into your 8th house you will start mixing money (energy)... He is probably older than you (or a Capricorn) and he will be along shortly (within a year, sooner if you want because you can pull him in anytime you desire and you know this is true.
Oh yeah.
Don't pick some mean bastard. It is not like you can't tell, and this is serious.
I am not being mean, I am trying to shore you up.

Hi Verymodern,
I started out with you on this thread and then got off track and came back to read and catch up. I have to say this is all very interesting although some of it I do not understand but it sounds like you have been on triple time with the amount of work and energy you are using.
I will admit that I have never been a follower of astrology but this is so interesting that I am sorely tempted if I could dig around and find my birth certificate for my time of birth if you had the time.
Now, I have a question off topic,I think which will also probably show my ignorance on this subject but that has unfortunately never stopped me from asking before so here goes.
There is a lady who is often on the "Montel Williams Show". I don't know if you have ever seen it or heard of a woman by the name of Sandra Brown or at least that is what I think her name is. She has this amazing power to forsee or foretell what has or is happening and aids many people who have questions about loved ones or unfortunate happenings or missing a loved one that has gone on.
Do you know of whom I am speaking?
If so, does her psychic abilities have anything to do with what you do and if I could be so bold as to ask your opinion of her and what she does?
I have heard others but hers are the only one that I have ever paid any attention.

shar9 - her name is Sylvia Brown, she claims to be psychic and what she does has nothing to do with astrology. She has a website that you can easily pull up with a search if you are interested.
Astrology is a logical math based thing. You can study and learn it, it is not a "gift". As far as I am concerned it is the language, the "DNA" of the universe, a code we are working to completely "crack".
As to what I think of her, I think she is guessing and she is most often guessing wrong.
I like her "show."
I found her website some years ago and I read her predictions.
They did not jibe with trends could see astrologically which I know to be reliable after 30 years of watching, but I withheld judgment and decided to wait and see.
I waited and watched and as I said, I found she was usually wrong. Wildly wrong as a matter of fact. Uh... we do not have a Democratic pres do we? Know what the astrology of the election was? Try Michael Lutin. "The winner will be the loser and the loser will be the winner".
This is not to say that she never ever ever saw the future even once, or that she doesn't think she can do this, or that it is not entertaining.
My sister is psychic.
I can cite hundreds of stunning examples, *however* she would never bet the farm (or anything else) if she could not back her impression via astrology. See, if it ain't in the sky, it is cosmic junk, origin unknown. We know this, and we know it because we have been watching, reading and trading notes for 30 years and like I say. Folks with Libra Moons do not live in ugly homes.
mimigigi - your post made me feel very good, very satisfied. Thank you.
posted on December 31, 2000 07:45:13 AM newYou can study and learn it, it is not a "gift"
I beg your pardon. IT IS A GIFT, especially the way YOU do it, with the wording and care and love and humor you show. Anyone can have their horoscope "read". You do it with love for what you do.
Do you have a website VM? I think what you do is awesome, and since you wont charge for what you do, maybe its meant that you make people HAPPY with HOW you do it. Having a website so RT is not the only one might be interesting to have, yes?

me: "new guy"
her "who is he"
me: "Scorpio, Leo rising, pluto conjunct"
her: "oh brother, you found another. Where's Mars? He's not 1951 is he?"

Thank you Maui - we have a webpage for auction stuff and I mention I speak astrology but I imagine no one would dream the extent. This is my nature really. You don't know how much I know until you get me talking and then you will find that there really is no end to it. It is not energizer bunny stuff, but down down down deeper deeper deeeper. Wherever you go, I can meet you there and that is no kidding. Further, I am a resource that constantly regenerates. I have never considered an astrology site, I just never have. Most of them are daily or weekly sun sign columns and this is not my bag.
A few people have written me because of this thread asking if I like what I am doing (thanks for asking), and I do. I explained that I was like someone who had bothered to learn to juggle, and so it is nice to be allowed to perform. It may not be easy, but that is not the point. This is my thing. This is like juggling in that each chart is akin to someone throwing me a different set of objects and my job is to toss them in the air and make 'em dance. The principles are the same but sometimes it is pots and pans, other times fire, coins, or even FLUFF and it gives an opportunity for me to stretch for which I am grateful for, to tell the truth.
See, on my end, I am thriving via this thread. Be assured of that. I am not Mother Theresa doling out assistance. This is an exchange, and the point is to become empowered while empowering others.

Hi, Very and all,
I am impressed again, in how you showed an outlet for the lurker's son, specifically martial arts to channel his anger/energy. I have some truly overwhelming internalized anger...am still hoping walking my dogs miles and miles a day will resolve it. Well, my calves look better than they ever have in my entire life. Sort of a big deal because I NEVER ever liked my legs.
My frustration is mid-life crisis combined with the fact that I reached this point in my (mid) life without attaining any of the conventional ideas of success. By my standards or anyones. Sometimes I tell myself I just skipped the middle man ...by never having a career to start doubting in the first place, and just going straight to gardening. What I mean is , if a person doesn't follow the standard path ie. years of school, followed by career and marriage, ...followed by the mid-life "where is the meaning in my life? This career is big fat mistake...will run off and garden and save the Indian elephants" I kid myself that I bi-passed the career part all together, went straight to gardening, have only saved one other alcoholic from dieing from her disease, havn't got the life partner, will never have the kiddies unless they can reverse hysterectomys before I'm ridiculously ancient...feeling mighty "feck-less" great word but I think I'm just avoiding saying what I'm really feeling.

lotsafuzz - your chart is a beauty. Visually, I mean, it is pretty to look at it, your should have a peek. You have 2 grand trines, one of them being part of a kite, so there is a lot in your life that just plain "works". You are always in motion, whether it is back and forth or backward or forward, and I mean both your mind and your physical body. I would say that you "move" well, and I mean the mundane here - walk, run, skip, hop, glide or whatever.
Besides all this motion stuff - you have a remarkable mind. First being Gemini you are automatically swift, but it is the ruler of your Sun, Mercury in Gemini that I refer to. Mercury is the thinking planet, how you communicate and your mind. Your Mercury is in Gemini (the sign in rules) and place in the 11th house which is associated with air sign Aquarius. Okay....
interlude
Mercury is supposed to be quick and intellectual. It likes to be in an air sign and house, top pick. Second pick is fire sign / house. Mercury in water is too emotional to function that well (intuitive thought) and in Earth is too practical (Virgo excepted - ruler here, and in Taurus is the worst because it is too slow)
EOI
Okay, so your Mercury in the 11th is innovative, ahead of it's time and highly social. You can strike up a conversation anywhere with anyone and put them at ease. This is a supreme skill. It is further enhanced (and theme repeated) via Natal Uranus in the 3rd house trine Mercury.
how's that go?
You have Mercury the Gemini planet in the 11th Aquarius/ Uranus House
You have Uranus theAquarius planet in the 3rd Gemini / Mercury house.
PLUS - they aspect each other (math)
The result very frankly is genius in a least one form and probably two (we are talking Gemini here so never single anything).
More good news is that you have a Leo rising, which means your Sun rules the chart and it is elevated in the 10th house. This means besides the Virgo Scorpio combo I like so much, you have my other favorite astro combo Leo and Gem who are great fans of each other and so you do not have to contend with a lot of infighting.
In a circle is goes like this.
Sun rules the chart, sun is elevated in Gem
Sun in Gem ruled by Mercury, well placed in Gem in the 11th.
Right there, that alone takes you a loooooong way.
Bottom line here again is that much in your life works and works very well.
I think I am going to have more to say on your chart, but I am going to hop off and do it from a different perspective.
I guess I have to do the Gem chart twice, lol!
Cheerio.

One time I went on a date with a double Cancer man.
Cancer = home, family, roots.
He took me to dinner at a restaurant that was somebodies home that had been converted.
All during dinner he told me about the family that had lived there, names, dates the whole family tree - roots and such.
I have to say I was bored out of my mind except for the science of it.
I am VeryModern and I can't help that.
Then he took me to his house.
Instead of trying to have sex with me, which I might of liked, he showed me around (pointing out the switch plates in the bathrooms - someone please shoot me) and then loaded me back in his MINI VAN.
Guess where we went?
I bet you can't.
We drove by the house that he used to live in!
Yes!
I asked to go home (my own) and he took me, but not before driving by his grandmother's old place so I could see it.

Hi VeryModern, I'm really enjoying your gift here and thanks again for sharing. I've yet to successfully poke my toes into the astrological waters... I've tried to study astrology but frankly, it's too deep (and wide) for me to grasp. IMO, it's a two-fold gift - not only do you have to have a serious abstract-thinking kind of intelligence, but the insight to grasp what the placements actually mean. I have been blessed with neither.... ughhhh!
My only remaining question is the extraordinarily overwhelming feeling I've had lately of an extra connection to another realm - seems to be set in place and I can't shake it off. I looked at the Astrodienst
chart this a.m. and did find a possibly telling snippet in the forecast section dated from Dec. 1. It basically said that I would begin to experience an influence that represents an enormous revolution in your consciousness, as you are exposed to aspects of life that you never dreamed possible... What is actually happening is that tremendous new understandings are asserting themselves in your life with such force that they seem to upset all your past ways of thinking... Possibly you will respond to this influence with confusion, doubt and uncertainty... Others may think you have gone out of your mind because of what you do and see at this time, but do not be concerned. This revolution in ideas and consciousness is a fundamental part of your life, and it must be allowed to pursue its own course.
They make it sound simple, but add a human to the equation and it's anything but... Confusion, doubt and uncertainty are just the tip of the iceburg. How about totally overwhelmed and out of control???? Anything you can see in my chart to give me hope for a fast safe landing?

hiya onezippyone!
mybiddness - do you really want to land?
I don't think you are land based, ya know?
I see Jupiter in Virgo which may worry some, but he is simply outgunned here. For one he is in crazy Aquarius 11th house so good luck landing there where this is no land to land!
You are supposed to be ethereal (Sun and Moon in Pisces) fun and creative (in the 5th house) and people should view you as a bit eccentric (Uranus in LEO on the mideheaven)..
..do tell her junque, there is no way you are gonna be able hide that!
You have a Virgo husband (perfect btw since this is conjunct your Jupiter) and he is your extension - your link to land.
You are the precious oddity,
so... uh, carry on!

LOL, YES, I want to land. At least get one toe on the ground for a moment... a second. I'm tired... seriously. I think I'm a bit eccentric too - at least different for sure. What is "Uranus in LEO on the mideheaven" "crazy Aquarius 11th house" - greek to me - so I'm nuts afterall?
