gee, I think we ought to invite the seller and the high bidder to join this thread (NOT!)
the bidder also has bid on 4 other bags.
pecannorma
You might want to add this seller to your "block bidder" list.

I agree that you should put him on your bidders list and maybe forward this email to eBay though I am not sure how that is done now that you have to use their WEB form and not just send it directly to what used to be called "safeharbor".
He apparently still does not understand that it is costing you money for him to link to your pictures!
Too bad you can't get AW to send him a bill on your behalf!!!!!

Next time put a fake bag up with a Swastika on it. That will be a double whammy and offend a BOATLOAD of people AND get them reported.

I just wrote to eBay about his user name being offensive. If enough eBayers write about this user maybe eBay will at least make him change his name.

okay, where did the purse auction go? I tried looking at it again and it is now an invalid item. did ebay pull it for some reason?
his id is still in the system though, not NARU yet.

UPDATE......I initially reported him to ebay & they sent him a warning which did no good. Luckily I was able to pull the pics, not the text however. Then I had to fill out an infringement form & ebay pulled it. I also forwarded his nasty email to ebay, it certainly portrays a clearer picture of him. Unfortunately, by the time ebay pulled it he had a winner with BIN. That leaves me kind of puzzled if not amazed for this reason. I follow Chanel closely because I sell my own bags from time to time. (I'm not a dealer, just a busy shopper) If new & in perfect condition, that bag would bring that amount. His certainly was not & it is incredulous that he got a buyer. I guess this is all after the fact but is there any way to really know if it was a legitimate sale? Just my curiosity!!

Sulyn1950 ....
http://pages.ebay.com/help/basics/select-RS.html
They usually pull auctions that are violating eBay rules. There are always a few Bidville and ePier sellers linking to their auctions.

The seller is still registered and selling at eBay.
http://cgi6.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewSellersOtherItems&[email protected]&completed=0&sort=3&since=-1&include=0&page=1&rows=25
If enough eBayers complain about his racially offensive name I bet eBay will make him change it.
Someone has already turned him into eBay for the illegal link in one of his 3 running auctions.

He is also selling clothing in Ebay Motors. Makes you wonder why people even bid on his items.

Darn! I missed all the fun! Now I can't even bring that auction up, the page just says "Invalid Item". Does this mean that Ebay pulled the listing?

Am I missing something here? I thought you had to have a feedback of 10 or higher to use BIN. How did a 0 feedback newbie who registered in April get to bid on this item?
The light at the end of the tunnel will turn out to be an oncoming train.

Its called money laundering.
Say you have an illegal money making operation, be it selling drugs or taking bets etc... You want to be able to spend your cash openly and to be able to put it in the bank without raising eyebrows. So you start an online auction business, you and your homies all set up several IDs and you all buy and sell things from each other. No actual product changes hands but a paper trail is established that resembles a legitimate income source. Now you can put it in the bank, buy that big house and even pay income taxes on it!
Whenever I see something sell for much, much, much more than its worth this is always what I think. After all since no product is changing hands you or your buddies MUST be the high bidder. It also would explain why he's swiping pictures and descriptions.
Moreover it would explain the sloppy listings, bad spelling and offensive ID. It might actually be designed to scare off bidders that aren't in on the scheme.
Just a thought....

memoryhole, You know, that's a very, very interesting thought. I know I always thought the same thing when I see tiny, dusty shops that keep the same three sun-faded items on display for years on end or the restaurants that nobody ever seems to eat at ....but I never thought of the possibility of money laundering through eBay. It would be perfect, wouldn't it?

Wow, that really does make sense and would explain a lot. That's why they steal pictures - they don't actually have the item. I never would have thought of that!

Ebay must of have made him change his user ID. It's now his email address.
