abacaxi--thanks for the great info. I'm going to have to stop and think 3 times before I list anything now since I'm on 'probation'.

glenda, yeah, that's what I've decided if I can get more of these beads. I think a combination of 'white rose' and 'tejano' will get to the Selena fans, although not as effectively if I could put 'attention Selena fans'. Adding 'tejano' will narrow the search down for 'white rose'--which brought up over 700 items...not too bad...at least it's not in the thousands. Tejano is a good search word.

Can you get some 'official' Selena product and sell the beads with them??

I don't what kind of things are available from Q-Productions--but maybe they have some postcards or something small and inexpensive.....and you could run the ad for the item and include the beads as a bonus to the winner---but making sure you state the beads are not a product of Q-productions---they just remind you of her.

Watch it on the "bonus" idea. From ebay rules:

"eBay considers a "bonus" an offer or enticement to either increase the bid price or to encourage the sale of multiple items. Examples of prohibited bonuses would be if an auction's Item Description states, "If the bidding reaches $20.00 I'll include this free gift" or "If you are the winning bidder on two items, I'll deduct 5% off of the final bid price" as these are intended to either inflate the bid price or encourage the sale of multiple items. Although bonuses are not permitted sellers may offer discounts on shipping, or free shipping for multiple items purchased.

Policy: These types of listings are not permitted and will be ended. The insertion fee will be automatically credited for that listing.

If the beads are included in the auction with no criteria of it reaching a certain price or any other ---it does not look like those rules apply.

zazzie, ZOWIE what a great idea! It could be a lot of Selena items. I sure have tons of Selena stuff around the house (some of it, of course, I'm definately going to keep!). I used to be a mobile DJ and have lots of Selena music, many multiple copies. Sounds as if I'll have to avoid the use of the word 'bonus' (I prefer 'lagniappe' anyway, down here in Louisiana!) Thanks.

This post is sure one heck of a fertile brainstorming session!
