Hello,my name is Steve, and I am writing this post for my fellow Seller's on all Auction Venues in Regards To Paypal and Credit Card Companies Chargback Money's.

I have lost alot of money recently from very dishonest bidders, who are no longer registered members of different auction sites.

I have read alot of disturbing notes on this board in regards to paypal and some people are putting out false information.

I sent out alot of high dollar baseball cards back in July and August, which totalled alot of money and within the past week PAYPAL has frozen my account and sent all the money back to the Credit Card Companies. My paypal balance is an astounding negative balance right now.

I have tracking #'s to prove the cards were sent, and paypal said they would investigate it, and I would get my money back 75 Days from the date the Resoulution Department figured it out,or got done with their investigation.

I am writing this to fellow AuctionWatch Comrades to watch the misinformation some people post. I read that a buyer only has 30 days to file a claim, that is very incorrect if they pay with a Credit Card, it is 6 months from the time of the Paypal Transaction.

ATTENTION READ VERY CAREFULLY: KEEP ALL YOUR SHIPPING LABELS AND ALL DOUCUMENTATION WELL AFTER THE SIX MONTHS HAS PAST, WITHOUT THIS INFORMATION, YOU WILL BE SCREWED BY THE CRIMINAL BIDDERS, AND THE CREDIT CARD COMPANIES, AND MOST OF ALL BY PAYPAL, IT IS LIKE THE SELLER IS A CRIMINAL, VERY UNJUST TO SAY THE LEAST.

With PayPal, the buyer can only file a complaint within 30 days to have PayPal to try and recover funds. However, with the credit card chargebacks, that is entirely up to the card company. I would also look at contacting the Postal Inspectors regarding the dishonest bidders. If you can show that they got the product, then they are in effect defraudnign you

did any item exceed 250?/if so,you need signature receipt as well.
if you have a merchant account, you need to show charge receipt and signature receipt of the buyer at his confirmed addr.
the problem of accepting cc in cyberspace is that we cannot swipe the card.
let us know if paypal honors its own seller protection program!
