I am enjoying using my Paypal Mastercard to pay for my postage and earn the 1.5% back.

OK. I got brave and used it to pay for a purchase from a major corporation over the phone. No problem.

My question is: The transaction is not showing up on "My Account". When I use it at the Post Office, my payment shows up immediately. Isn't the same with anyone I pay?

Do big companies hold back until a certain day until actually putting the "charge" through? I already called to make sure that the company had actually entered in the transaction on their computers.

Thanks for any help.

they usually put the charge through when they are ready to ship.

Yes, I bought a doll from Danbury Mint and I have already received it. Then I called and made a payment with the Paypal Mastercard. Maybe they only put their charges through once a month?

Hi,

Charges generally appear very quickly in the PayPal account. Perhaps the merchant didn't try to run the charge yet?

Hi Damon,

That's what I'm wondering. Maybe large companies like Danbury's put all their charges through once a month instead of as they occur. In the meantime, I have to make sure that I don't spend that amount in my Paypal account in case they suddenly take it out. At least it isn't a large amount.

I just checked my Paypal account, and the Danbury's transaction is there. Now I have a small negative balance because my funds transfer from checking will take a few days to clear. Will that work out OK once the funds clear?
