..A fee for their services? They couldn't pay me enough to use them. Just looking at this board for the first time, 75% of the posts are either 'my horror story' or 'PayPal sued by..." They simply do not provide a service (or dis-service?) worth paying for.
I remember when it was at least free and worthwhile, when I could use it to accept CC payments with a reasonable monthly limit. I used it a lot. Ever since that $100/month limit I dropped it, and now you have to pay them to take a payment from a CC. So whats the point of having it? I can't even get mail where I live, only via a PO box, so I could never verify the account.. cause it has to match the address for the credit card bill, which is the PO Box, not the street address. now I am glad I didn't, I don't want them in my checking account for any reason.
From what I can see, PayPal's internal TOS is 'keep our butt covered' -
So if you're a new seller, my advice to you is use a service like BidPay for credit card users, or none at all. Even going through setting up your own merchant account with a bank or service is better than this. (it's a wonder someone hasn't set up a system like that for auction sellers, yet).

If you think this board is full of complaints you should browse the others. Paypal fraud seems to be an epidemic.

Why is there always someone looking for something for nothing?
Why don't you try searching forums for any company - be it credit card companies, grocery stores, clothing, toys and see if a majority of the posts are negative or positive.
People love to talk, and most of the time all people really want to do is moan and complain and give one-sided stories.
They will post hundreds of posts in a few days about a problem they have with a company, not just paypal. Once the problem is figured out or solved, they only post once if at all about the resolution.
