For you Starwars fans...

You remember that scene in the original Star Wars on the death star where Luke is off rescuing Princess Leia and the handsome, courageous but none-too-bright Han is left at the console in the deathstar watching for Imperial Troopers?

A call comes in asking him to report what's going on. Han answers stupidly, "All ok here, everything's ok!". The commanding voice on the other end wants to know "Who is this?" and Han realizes he can't bluff his way out of this blasts the console into silence?

That's how I feel after trying 4 or 5 times yesterday on the subject of Paypal holding money from my buyer for 5 months and telling me if only I'd set my preferences the money wouldn't have been kept by Paypal waiting for me to "manually" accept or deny the funds.

I get back email saying they've checked my preferences and "everything is ok!". Well, why did they keep it in the first place? I'll never know and I've given up trying to figure out if it'll happen again or if this is a "feature" of Paypal. I've never been too clear on why I'd want to deny Payment of my money into my account, anyway...

"All ok here, everything's ok!"
