Update: I spoke with Paypal and they told me to confirm with Vendio that you are sending the IPN notification URL with each request you send to Paypal. This is so that Vendio will only get notifications for the transactions that come from Vendio.
No offense but many vendors, including Vendio, have a line of business which sells research/market intelligence so I would not be happy relying on any 3rd party to "not listen-in" on my other transactions. I'm appalled that Paypal would leave this gap. Perhaps I was misinformed or misunderstood.
The Paypal Tech Support person also advised me to create a default IPN listener as otherwise Vendio will be notified of every payment made to my Paypal account.
If this is the case, then I think Vendio needs to be very clear about what data they will and won't receive if we follow the vendio provided instructions for configuring the IPN URL at Paypal.
Also, do we need a Website Payments Pro Paypal account or only Website Payments standard?

I'm unclear how to configure Paypal to only send my Vendio Store payments to the Vendio payment url.
I sell on eBay and will have a Vendio store. I also do a lot of business directly with my customers by invoicing them using Paypal's invoice system.
At the moment, I only intend to use Vendio checkout for my Vendio store. If I add the Vendio IPN to my Paypal account, will Paypal send notifications for all payments that it processes to Vendio? If so, will that cause me any problems processing my eBay and Paypal invoiced payments? Also, what will Vendio do with the notifications for non-store payments?
