Hello,
It's possible that an Internet connectivity glitch has triggered a retry while downloading the ebay.xml file. The synchronization has not frozen, but this download might take twice as long. Also, you might want to check whether there is enough free space on your hard disk.
Please let us know if you are still having trouble synchronizing.
