I found this one on www.dealhunting.com, under their "Hottest Deals".
Best Buy, at least in this region, has the D-Link DMP-100 MP3 portable player/recorder on sale this week for $50. Normally about $150.
It gets even better! There's ALSO a $30 manufacturer's rebate available on-line at http://www.dlink.com/sales/promo/Back2School$30.htm. More details on the item can be found there, too.
Pricematching with the Best Buy ad can be done at various other places. Circuit City did it for me. Actually, it was a convenient "unadvertised sale" for $49.98 in their computer, not even a sign for it by the item. So they didn't have to live up to their 110% pricematching, but I still can't complain!
Or you can always get a raincheck at Best Buy (and hope they come in before the rebate ends at the end of September).

I'm not sure what the difference is but I purchased one at circuit city because best buy was out and downloaded the $30 rebate off dlink. My friend than happened on one at best buy and when they checked out the rebate that printed out at best buy is for $50. either way a good deal, I've got a raincheck for 3 more from best buy, hope the come in before the rebate ends.
