Hi all! Yes, the whiner FINALLY received the rocketboard today, YEAH!!! Says it shipped 6/12...must have been via pony express!! Oh well, it was free! Take care!

Got my board weeks ago-my wife placed it out at our yard sale while I was at work and got $90.00 for it!!! I think I will try to get another and auction it off on eBay (need that copywrite key!)

I didn't use the software to install mine; without it, it just functions as a keyboard with some extra, nonfunctional keys up top.

received my Rocketboard in June. Hubby put it on his computer -- says the keys have a better "feel" than the original keyboard.

Haven't received mine yet, went to site, don't know if I ordered another one or not(?)....but said availability is Sept. 18th. You also need to confirm email address when they send confirmation or they won't send it out until you do.

My Rocketboard was supposed to be shipped on 6th July 2000. The status is still the same and has not ben shipped till now. Is there anybody else, apart from me, sailing in the same boat. My repeated quiries to them have not been answered even once.

The problem is that in my Order Status, the Expected ship date is 6th July 2000. The Actual Shipped date is not updated yet. Is it normal?

What I noticed with mine is IGNORE THE SHIP DATE! Mine was not actually "shipped" on the expected ship date, but a couple of weeks later. But even when they add the actual shipped date IGNORE IT! Instead, look at the "expected delivery date". That is the day it will probably be in your mailbox.

Be warned about TANSTASFL! No, it's not a German disease. It means There Aint No Such Thing As A Free Lunch. Rocketboard is free becuase the Rocketboard software assigns you a code and reports back to Rocketboard every site you visit and every file you download. Then Rocketboard can target you for spam email from their "partners" to whom they sell this information. You can find this buried in small print on Rocketboard's site. So use the keyboard but DONT INSTALL THE SOFTWARE unless you want to be spied on.
