I'm kinda wary of this one...more
specifically, the "agree to pay shipping
and handling" part, with no mention of just
how much they plan to charge for that.
It would be nice to know that it IS legit, and that they wouldn't charge an exhorbitant amt. for s&h, but as the old
saying goes, if it sounds too good to be
true, it usually is...and they're just a tad too vague for me! I hope it works out nicely for those who do try it.
BTW, I'm getting a free digital camera
from Earthlink for signing up for 3 months...and I know I don't have to pay
shipping and handling for THAT one! It's
not as good as the one I have, but it will
do nicely as a second camera for the places
where I don't want to bring my good one.

I, too, was wary about the unspecified S&H, but until they ask me for a credit card number, I'm not worried. I won't give them the number until they tell me how much it is, and I'll decide from there. If its more than $6 or so, i'm outa there...

I got my camera from earthlink....its not too bad especially for the price! The digimarc folks sent me an email listing shipping for this camera at $7! not too bad...I'll let you know when they ship!

Howdy Guyz!
I got my order form in the email today! It was a link to their fulfillment site. They want $7.00 handling + $5.oo for shipping. I figured that and the hassle of the surveys and I said fageddaboutit! I already have a webcam ( from earthlink last yr.!) thats doing fine. It was an intel camera if anyone's still interested...

On the subject of surveys, I had signed up once to answer some, via snail mail, with vague promises of free samples (of which I received exactly ONE.) Anyway, the
LAST survey I got from this unnamed company asked questions in *extreme* detail about - how can I say this nicely...(I can't!) - my *bathroom wiping* habits!!!

at them REAL quick, including said
survey torn up, saying that I thought they went WAY over the line with THAT survey, and
not to bother me EVER again!! LOL! Oh,
the NERVE! I was ticked at the time, but
still have to crack up laughing sometimes, wondering WHO in their
right mind would have responded to THAT one?!
It still galls me what some marketers ask!
I sure hope they don't ever try to get
THAT personal with ya!
Seriously,I doubt they will...that was a one time BAD experience there, and I've filled out many a survey myself since I've been online. It would likely be worth it to me
to pay the $12 and do the surveys myself
if I didn't have a camera already.

I got an answer by email question the shipping and handling charges. Her's what they had to say. Shipping is from $4.00 to $15.00 and Handling is $7.00. So it'll cost you at least $11.00 to $22.00.
The Digimarc Household registration is currently closed. If you previously
registered shipping and handling is determined by the means of shipping
chosen, ranging from $4.00 to $15.00. Handling is $7.00

I got my cam!! It is very nice, small and compact. I have already used it and the pics and video results are great. I paid a total of $12.90.

Whoa two free computer toys in one day. I got my camera and rocketboard. This camera is going to be perfect for grandparents to keep tabs on the new baby. I'm so excited thanks to the original poster for the wondeful baby gift.
