I got off work and turned on the TV and switched to the T-Zone New Years Marathon.
Anyone else tuned in? My favorite was just on. The one about the old man and his dog going coon hunting.

What channel, Kel? We had Alfred Hitchcock marathon on TV Land all night last night - that one was fun.
BTW - glad to hear you are safe and sound and warm again....I thought of you when I saw the weather hitting your area.

I wish they would play reruns of that old scary show....trying to think of name. It started with paintings, scary dark looking paintings. What was that????
Oh yeah! Night Gallery! I loved that show when I was a kid.

We don't get Sci-Fi here.
I think you mean Night Gallery. GREAT show! I was just a little kid when it was on, so you musta been watching from your crib! LOL That was a good one...but I've never seen them run it on any cable channel. Wonder why?

Remember the one with the doll that was so sweet and then it turned into this evil thing? I had nightmares over that one!

kitsch1: I loved that show, too, and often wished I could get my hands on some of the paintings. Remember the one with Roddy McDowell, where he murdered his uncle & a series of paintings showed the uncle's corpse leaving the grave and then getting closer...and closer...and closer....?

Bunnicula - Was that one on The Twilight Zone or Night Gallery? They were both by Rod Serling. I always liked TZ but Night Gallery used to scare the socks off me. I do remember the one you're talking about. My favorite TZ was the pool shark with Jack Klugman and Jonathan Winters.

eyeguy6: no, it was on the Night Gallery. I agree, there was some great stuff on that show. As for Twilight Zone, there is hardly an episode on it that doesn't shine. Klugman has 2 or 3 episodes on it. The pool player one was good, but I prefer the one where Billy Mumy is the ghost of his son, Pip (who is dying in Vietnam), and he gives his life so that Pip will live.

I don't watch Sci-Fi much except for TZ and MST3000. I saw a show a few days ago that starred a very young Robert Redford as the grim reaper. I hadn't seen that one before. I think it was a TZ.

I think I liked the one with Agnes Moorehead as the old crone fighting off the Mars guy...but it wasnt mars...at the end of the show, it showed the US flad on the suit of the guy.
Lots of stars first appeared on TZ BEFORE they were stars. Did ya know that? And, do you remember THRILLER? Loved all those shows.

Maybe at last someone can answer this question.
I loved all those scary shows, I watched and rewatched them all, over the years.
But one was never put into reruns, I haven't seen it in over 20 years, and I can't recall the name. I guess it wasn't very popular.
I think it was hosted by Anthony Quail. The lead in was with muticolored smoke, just slowly twirling up.
Does this ring a bell with anybody?

Victoria: That would be "The Evil Touch." Quayle hosted it in 1973 (It fizzled).

Thanks - The SciFi channel picks up some weird ones, maybe it'll resurface there.
