Barry, I will talk to you like youre here, k? Long ago, when I was wandering around here in these dank halls, you kept me company. We moaned and groaned for Shad looking under overturned tables for him, roaming the empty halls playing hide and seek, posting dumb threads and waiting for people to join in. Zazzie kept us company too, and itsamoomoo. Barry(you always made me smile)Barris, I miss seeing you. Are you ok?

Hi bearmom! Yeah, Im always around, although I havent posted much lately...well, sorta lately (been growing thicker skin, dontcha know). Holidays were good, but Im glad its over, lol. How were your holidays? Good I hope! New Year soon...who woulda thunk we would all be around to see 2001? I figured Id be dead by now...leastways, what I thought when I was a teen, lol.

We are snowed in here, the worst in 15 years. We were supposed to go to austin to pick out our new house today, but here I sit. Cooking, eating, and arguing with the dog, who wants to go in and out all day!

Thicker skin recipe...hm....quack quack. Youre supposed to let it roll off, but it keeps getting stuck halfway down. Soon as I get it perfect, I will be happy to share it with you, lol. Im working on it...tis my new year resolution.

Bearmom: At least your dog is willing to go outside! It's been so cold here that I have to coax the dog out to do his business. A couple of weeks ago, I had to carry him home (all 35 pounds of him) from his walk - just too cold for him.

I used to have his email addy, but lost it for some reason. Does anyone have it? And if so, perhaps they can email him to come let us know that hes ok? Sure would be great if he could pop in. Maybe if I told him I had a SHAD SIGHTING, lol. He loved Shad.(Small fib..no sighting, but is a GOOD small fib)

I've asked Barry(please)Barris in other threads if he was lurking to come here. But, he hasn't answered.
I do miss him. He could always control us if things got off topic with one of his witty remarks.
Usually we know why someone has left but he just went poof.

Sorry...I just got back online..had to go fix dinner (steak! Sick of goose and cornish hens, lol). I sure wish I wouldve seen Barry(my studmuffin)Barris, but alas, not yet. Tis good to see everyone else, though!
Someone else do a ponderment, please. Let ME ponder an answer instead of posing one! That would be a treat, lemme tell ya.
Meanwhile, I gotta get stuff listed and sales are ending too...so I will be back later to see if my hunk-o-burning-love Barry(gimme some sugar)Barris showed up yet.

Hi, Stockticker! My weimeraner loves running in the snow. Unfortunately, I have to wipe his feet for him when he comes in. But it's so deep, our weiner dog can't squat to potty! I'm going to have to go dig her a latrine, I guess. Maybe put up a beach umbrella to keep the snow off her back while she does her business?

I know tegan...me too. But Im looking for him...and I do tend to irritate people when I want something, and right now, I want BARRY! I dont know if I have the right email for him, but I did send one. Keep your fingers crossed that its the right one and he gets it.

First I should say Hi to all above, Hi...
Actually I have been here almost daily, just not posting, lurking so to speak. Truth is I got tired of all the political threads. BORING
I have made several attempts to post to some threads but some happy Gremlins seem to be hanging around me. Once I had a response all typed and I clicked on "clear fields" instead of "submit". Since it was late I did not bother to try it again. Another time I was composing a response and the electricity went out (for 4 hours half the city was out).
Now I could tell you about not being able to type due to bandages (that put me out of commission for a few days). While making a sandwich I cut my finger with the %$@&^% knife. Bandaged it. Lost interest in the sandwich and went for something safe (I thought) a can of soup. Cans of soup now have a pop top easy open thing. While trying to open the can (and protect my cut finger) I cut my hands with the %#$@&^% easy open top. Both hands ended up bandaged.
So I have spent some extra time doing the things I like, sleeping, eating, drinking and farting...
Thank you all for thinking about me. I am touched (in more ways than one......)
Now you may not be able to get rid of me...

Ok, here is a smiley face...
About the Boo-Boo's on my hands. Very little pain. I don't have very much feeling (as in sensory input) in my fingers. However this does cause it's own problem. I can cut or burn myself and not know it until I notice the blood or blisters. I just try and be careful...
