We have this really silly Christmas tradition that we play out every year at our best friends house.
We get all the Men weapons of minor destruction and set them loose on each other.
These are usually nerf type weapons that are pretty much harmless but keep them amused stalking each other through the house for hours.
Our friends have a huge house and don't mind (actually they started the tradition).
It has nothing to do with the real meaning of christmas, more to do with allowing and encouraging them to let the little boy inside out.It is kind of fun to watch these men from 15 to 50 letting thier hair down.The children are included in thier games and often recruited because they make the best spys.
The women usually gather with coffee in the living room (no shooting zone) and chat and enjoy our gifts.
Silly tradition but the guys really love it.

Oh what a great idea tegan! My nephew (who's 16 now) got a suction cup dart gun one year and the 'big' boys played with it for hours. I have to go shopping tomorrow anyway, I think I'll pick something up. Of course I'll send them outside...
