Proves people (will) buy crap if it's packaged nicely. I would not buy the book used.
Why would anyone in their right mind want to relive her lies? I care less to read about a dope smokin' homely hippie that obtained a law degree to swindle.
Woman is so ugly. She resembles Gumby. She has piano legs and ankles capable of supporting a pier. Her butt is wider than her shoulder width.
Spit-spit!

Don't worry though, I am sure she would be just as kind in describing you.

Hi Pocono, krs,
Probably bad timing but I like Hillary and I'll just say, good for her.
I can think of a few on the other side of the ticket but I wouldn't use "trash".
I think I'll have to do a survey of the men and check out their butts, ankles and legs and other fine qualities they may or may not have.

Politics really is like religion. They devout believe thier shepards that they are on the side of the angels and the competition are demons. What they can not believe is that to all of them the followers are mutton.

Both the politicians and the preachers consume the flock and what little protection either offers is offset by the cost of being
"protected". At least when criminals do the protection racket thing they don't candy coat it telling you what a favor they are doing you. Any of the preachers or politicians who care about people can be found in a little neighborhood church or working at something like the school board. Big government and religion is about money and power and personal fame not helping people.
People still attach to them and put their trust in them. In vain. It is stupid.
Plain enough this time?

How typical!!!
Taking jabs at a woman's physical appearance is so juvenile.
It was this way in EO everytime Meg was the subject.

Thank you. So then it is your belief that none of these small time preachers or politicians harbor aspirations, secretly perhaps, of one day leading a larger flock or holding an elected position of higher responsibility?
Your preacher may, you'll have to admit, be a collector and devoted viewer of Jerry Fallwell tapes; and your politician may stand before a mirror at night learning to read grandious speeches which he or she has laboriously copied backwards so as to be able one day to read from a teleprompter with some semblance of style before a national audience.

Agreed. Hillary could destroy most aspects of sgtmike's life with a single phone call, and Meg could buy his entire town on a whim just to run him out of it.
But nevermind that, the final judgement has been passed: a woman who resembles Gumby (aside: more than sgtmike does, if possible)
is of no worth whatsoever.

Come on guys. Attacking someone for what they were created with, i.e., looks, is totally unfair. You've attacked something that cannot be controlled. Besides, you've attacked someone I dearly respected in the past. I'm sorry but you're totally off-base. Gumby was a friend and a pal. Don't be dissin' the Gumby!!!

gee Sarge, that's kinda harsh! IMHO ALL politicians are chronic liars and they all have had their faults and skeletons.
IF Hillary smoked a little weed in her youth, I don't think that disqualifies her to be a member of the human race. Didja know we have had presidents that were morphine addicts while in office. We have had womanizers before too! It is just that in this day and age it is perfectly okay to peek in someones bedroom or in their closets or medicine cabinets and make any and all info public - even if the info is erroneous.
And just like we are not responsible for what race or sex we are (we are born what we are) - we are also not responsible for our looks or how "beautiful" we are. I think Hillary carries herself well and that she is a very intelligent woman. I may not agree with everything she has ever done (there are NO saints in politics) but her appearance is not something that she is responsible for, it is a 'low blow".

Good Morning Nobs,
Now, why didn't I say that? I will admit that Gumby was never a favorite of mine but I don't think everyone is an idiot or sheep that watched Gumby.
What gripes me is that it seems fair game to judge a woman by her looks but would not think of doing the same for a man. That is such a sexist remark, IMO.

I would be ashamed beyond beleif to make fun of a womans appearence, just because I didn't agree with her politics. It's about as low as person can stoop, so I refrain from it. It takes so little intelligence, and so much assinine-ism to do such a thing, so I would never even consider it. It's disgraceful, AND distasteful. Nope, not me. My mother taught ME better.
But then again, "I" am not a male chauvenist either.
Not intended toward any poster in particular, JMHO.

Maybe the Sarge isn't a chauvinist - just shallow - choosing to vote based on physical appearance. That method has its advantages - no time wasted in thinking.

wow sgtmike I will assume that Hillary Clinton has done something very personal to you or your family. And on another note some of us find the butt thing to be a desirable quality in a woman. And with the exception of Paula Jones, every woman Bill has been accused of being with has a butt that's stuffed. I will say to be a woman in her fifties, Hillary looks great. If I were into older women, Hillary has everything I find desirable.
1. Intelligence equal to mine possibly greater.
2. Decent looks, drop dead beautiful women tend to have certain other liabilities. Don't beleive me ask Jeb Bush about his wife's customs fiasco.
3. Ambition all her own so she isn't relying on any of mine or at times lack of it.
4. A great personality.
5. And most important fully capable of stepping forward to meet any challenge that faces both of us.
Heck as a life long partner Bill couldn't have made a better choice. Besides with the exception of Jackie O' (also a democrat by the way). I challenge you to find a better looking Republican first lady. Let's face it since you are stuck on beauty. The last three Republican presidents spouses all fell into those same features that you find so revolting on Hillary. And if we really wanted to make this a looks does matter contest, Bush Senior would have never won based on Barbara's looks then or now. Now I am sure back in 1945 she was a serious looker.
But let's face it with the exception of Lena Horne and Tina Turner. Most women lose many of those physical attributes that turn a man's head completely around. Besides only men are stupid enough to think that some young woman wants them for their looks and charm after 50.

Morning Shar,Nobs
I think Hilary is great too,a la Eleanor Roosevelt mode---- As far as in the senate,I am glad she is there, she will keep those right wingers on their toes.
As for her looks ,she has made the best of her looks and comes off well. I do not think we expect a Anna Nicole Smith in the Senate too much distraction, as much as Trent Lott would like that. No, Hillary is gonna do just fine, smart women

Why are women the only ones judged by their looks? For the most part you don't catch men or women making fun of the way a man may look.
A person can't help the way they are built, or how their face is arranged. The width of Hilary's ankles has no bearing on her personal or political views.
Attacking someone for their looks is so Jr. High...Do you also pick on stutterers, those who limp, wear glasses, have braces, or are hard of hearing?

And on the subject of mens looks not being commented on, I've read many an unpleasant post here about how Bush looks.

"It may seem strange but no matter how plain a woman may be if truth and loyalty are stamped upon her face all will be attracted to her and she will do good to all who come near her and those who know her will always love her for they will feel her loyal spirit and have confidence in her while another woman far more beautiful and attractive will never gain anybody's confidence simply because those around her feel lack of loyalty." dejavu,
I may have missed it, but I only saw comments on K. Harris' make-up, not on her physical shortcomings.
The "description" of Hillary in this thread is just plain mean.
I don't care squat if one wants to criticize another's politics, philosophies, etc. But, taking cheap shots at one's physical flaws is below the belt.
We all have our flaws; some are just more visible than others.

Actually, I thought the remarks about Katherine Harris were also cruel and unfair.
I may not have agreed with her but her looks had nothing to do with it.
A woman or mans looks have nothing to do with their ability to do their job IMO.
