I am just about to walk out the door to the airport---going up to San Francisco to have a reunion with my sweetie....I am so happy to leave all the boxes, mail deliveries, emails, and ebay stuff behind!! Of course you KNOW I will be missing it in a few days. I hear there's a flea marked in SF every Thursday. I may check it out!
I used Hotwire to get my ticket.....which is a service like Priceline.....it's one of those "they give you the price and the date but not the exact times or routes until you pay" services. You can save a lot of $$ but the tickets are non-refundable. Well---guess how I'm routed? LAX to PHOENIX, stopover for an hour, then to SF. On the way home I go SF--->LAS VEGAS--->LAX. Slightly weird!!! It's going to take me 3 to 4 hours longer than it usually does. But since the ticket was near half price compared to the usual cost, I am willing to live with it.
I'll be thinking of all of you as I ride them cable cars and eat Chinese food.
