THANK GOD the religious fruit-cakes are on the ball with this one!

First Tinky-Wink...
Then Sponge Bob Square Pants...
Now we have to suffer GAY PENGUINS???
I think NOT!

http://www.msnbc.msn.com/id/11676978/

A truly DANGEROUS story of LOVE and TOLERANCE!

http://www.simonsays.com/content/book.cfm?sid=183&pid=505791&agid=4

The Central Park Zoo is home to all kinds of animal families. But Tango the penguin's family is a bit different -- she has two fathers. This heartwarming story will open the minds of readers, resonating long after the story has finished.

"A touching and delightful variation on a major theme." -- Maurice Sendak
"This wonderful story of devotion is heartwarming proof that Mother Nature knows best." -- Harvey Fierstein

"Charming! And Tango Makes Three proves that all kinds of love can create a family." -- Wendy Wasserstein

"A little miracle for children. Funny, tender, and true, the story of Tango will delight young readers and open their minds." -- John Lithgow

"Cole's pictures complement the perfectly cadenced text...Those who share this with children will find themselves returning to it again and again... for the two irresistible birds at its center and for the celebration of patient, loving fathers who "knew just what to do." -- Booklist, starred review

"In this true, straightforwardly (so to speak) delivered tale, two male chinstrap penguins at New York City's Central Park Zoo bond, build a nest and -- -- thanks to a helping hand from an observant zookeeper -- -- hatch and raise a penguin chick...Readers may find its them of acceptance even more convincing for being delivered in such a matter of fact, non -- preachy way." -- Kirkus Reviews, starred review

"[A] heartwarming tale. Older readers will most appreciate the...larger theme of tolerance at work in this touching tale." -- Publishers Weekly, starred review

"This joyful story about the meaning of family is a must for any library." -- School Library Journal, starred review

"And Tango Makes Three is bound to raise eyebrows, but for those of us eager to encourage our children to include, rather than exclude, it's a welcome addition to the library of families. The well -- written, perfectly placed text is delivered with a deft touch...Happily, and surprisingly, And Tango Makes Three rises above the message it carries and becomes the rarest of birds, a 'message book' that's also a really good story." -- New York Times Book Review

That may work for penguins but do you think it's alright for human beings too?

I think the religious right is a group of nuts, to say the least, as bad as the ultra liberals.

I also believe this political correct crap has gone too far. Now we’re told that being gay must be accepted.

Bullsh*t.

I can respect their civil rights and I wish them no harm but when they want the “right” to marry and adopt that’s going too far.

Some may not have a choice in their feeling but they have a choice in their actions.

Just as those that choose to commie crimes, those that choice to be nudist, those that choose one political party over another. Their lifestyle is their choice.

I don’t have to accept it and I’m not in the minority in this feeling.

I don’t really care about the religious ramifications but I do care about the social deterioration of our moral value systems.

If the Country is turning to sh*t this is a harbinger.

Why - honestly, why do you believe that people should be denied specific legal rights based on who they have sex with?

The state chose to make marriage a legal status that comes with certain benefits. Why do you believe that those legal rights should be denied to someone based soley on sexual orientation?

I can understand and even be tolerant of a church that decides not to recognize or perform gay marriages based on moral issues but I believe that government should be in the business of legislating morality. I also don't understand why it is republicans, whose whole party is based upon a smaller government with minimal intrusion into ones personal life, are the ones that are so eager to involve the government in this.

Why is it laudable when a heterosexual couple that has lived together for years decides to get married but not when a homosexual couple does? How do the two events have such a radically different effect on society that the first couple gets showered with gifts and the second couple is told they will be breaking the law? That's why laws are passed right, to protect society? What is the danger that a ban on gay marriage will protect it from?

Is it really just that people will think it's "OK" to be gay? Why is it not OK? Why do people even care? That's what I don't get. Why do people give a damn who consenting adults have sex with?

Seems the author's basic premise here is that, to him, Jesus = LOVE, as opposed to FRED PHELPS who goes by the maxim that JESUS = HATE...

As I said:
I don’t really care about the religious ramifications but I do care about the social deterioration of our moral value systems.

I don't care what they do in their own caves as long as it's not with children.

Is bestiality okay? How about incest with consenting adults?

What's next to be shoveled on the middle of the road majority?

Street Fn because it's a natural act?

Why can’t these mentally challenged individuals stay in the closet where they belong?

A family consists of a Mother and a Father. Not two same sex perverts.

I doubt I’m in a minority on these thoughts, I’m sure I’m one of the few that will state them for fear of being called the entire bigot and other bulls*t monikers.

I’m not just against it I’m against it with a passion.

If I make the choice of being a criminal, tyrant or other against the norm lifestyle I have to pay the consequences.

"I also believe this political correct crap has gone too far. Now we’re told that being gay must be accepted.

And I think that is the heart of the whole thing. It's getting to the point where we're constantly being told [by the media] that you MUST accept it.

Except that we DON'T have to accept it. The only people who are pushing it are the perverts and those who worship political correctness.

We DON'T have to accept it. We don't have to give in to them. We don't have to change OUR laws and rules of society for THEM.

It's no different than illegal immigrants who refuse to learn English. If they want to live in our society, then follow our rules. Don't try to change the way civilization has run for thousands of year just because it's politically correct to tolerate everything.

Why is tolerance always seen as a good thing? It's just another idea. Sometimes it's a good idea, sometimes it isn't.

And one more thing...Using propaganda aimed at children is a tactic used by the NAZIS and HITLER don't ya know (I know how liberals like to bring up those names in every thread, so I'm beating them to the punch). I said the same thing about the Communist-Socialist proganda book "Rainbow Fish" as well.

Same retoric - no actual answers to the questions.

As for the "don't try to change the way our society works" arguement? #*!@. Our society used to say that women didn't have the right to vote and that we had the right to buy and sell other humans. The world changes. Society changes. Our country was founded on the concept of all being welcome to our shores. Why is it OK that so many want to change that but not change the availability to equal legal rights no matter what your sexual orientation may be.

Fenix you are just the flip side of the coin your point is no more valid than theirs. Yours is based on some kind of tolerance, but in fact your words show just how intolerant you are also.
