I originally posted this on the ebay forum, but I thought this place was more appropriate.
Maybe my items cater to those of ...umm shall we say... err well I bet their eyes are kind of close together, and their head is maybe just a little pointy. ( I sell tools)
But lately I have had a rash of the most baffling questions.
(I suggest, when reading this play the song "dueling banjos" in the background"
Them
"How much do I owe you"
ME
"which auction are you referring to"
Them
"What do you mean?"
(I gave up after that...I mean if he did get the socket set I was sure he would do something like put it in the microwave or something)
Them
"Hello I won the cordless drill from your auction but all I got was the drill... no power cord"
(Again... do I have a moral duty not to send these items???... I mean these people could really hurt themselves)
And finally
Them
"I won your auction but do you have a layaway program or something?"

Reminds me of a job that I had when I was in High School as a receptionist for a Volkswagen dealership and service center. So many people would call and without identifying themselves ask, "Is my little red bug ready?"
Some of those tool guys are shrewd!. One bought a special VW tool from me on Ebay -- a tool that is only used once in a lifetime! He used it once, and returned it to me for a refund.
