Have you been to the new USPS rate calculator site today?? What a difference!! The choices are overwhelming. International now has on-line discounted prices. It is going pretty slowly, but it is very detailed. My head is spinning. I need another cup of coffee before I tackle it again.

I was there,it is very slow.
No global priority mail for Australia, but when I go to Paypal, flat rate envelope going first class is 10.45 for a 10 oz item.

I had several Priority Mail items going out today and I had to measure the box for each of them. What a crock! I had some Parcel Post and couldn't believe how much more expensive they are.

hwahwa - WOW! I think this is going to kill International selling. I'm thinking about eliminating it.

Did you use boxes supplied from USPS or your own boxes?
YES this is a PIA. I took off international off all my listings. I started eliminating International as I listed last week. week doing it. I may start again in the future but for now,I stopped.

We made a midnight run to the SFO airport post office last night to ship as many packages as we could. They were accepting them at the old rate up until 12:00 am, even though the packages weren't actually postmarked until today.
Click-n-Ship doesn't postmark anything. The date on the label is the date that you purchased the postage. No different from buying stamps at a post office Saturday. You'd still have to pay the new shipping rates if you mailed it today regardless of when you bought the stamps.

deur1 - I used both kinds. I use PayPal to ship and I had to put dimensions for both kinds of boxes. It was a royal pain.

Now you weren't thinking were you. How about simply adding the extra postage to it. They could have done it at the P.O. At this point, I would get some stamps and add the extra postage to it.

Well Stoney, we have a very small p.o. in a book store up the street. I always go in the back door with my parcels and pile them up near the door for the truck to pick up. The clerk there had a long line and I was lucky to even get a few words with her. I thought it was easier to take my packages back and cancel the click and ship labels and make new ones.
