Morning all! I am trying to comprehend the new postage increase when it comes to the difference to retail and discount. I have read most of the new info on the USPS site where I do not find the mention of the difference between the 2, retail & discount. Is the discount pricing referring to bulk rates should you have a meter? my contact person at my local PO is out on training for 2 weeks so I have attempted to review this new increase on my own. It definitely seems like a mess. How about the 3 new pricing fees for first class rates - letters, flats and parcels.
I do my mailing labels at Paypal, will they have all this crap in their system so I may be able to continue to process my labels there.
It seems like such a mess. I don't mind change but not if it is a nightmare.
did anyone take the tutorial at Ebay in April?

All I have to say is you better have the usps site up and your ruler ready for most 1st class items from now on.

The whole thing is a big mess.
Knowing how the post office works - I would say it will be awhile before most of the employee know whats going on.
For now I'm going to try flat rate boxes and DHL shipping.
Good question about paypal labels. I would think it would have to update as paypal is really just sending you to the USPS site.
