OK no boob shots this time sorry guys lol I'm drawing a blank on this dress as a Halloween Costume ...I try to give a idea as to what you'd look like in a dress .Like so Marilyn Monroe...Bomb Shell, so Brady Bunch Etc Etc and will put Mod or Hippie Style in title. Can anyone think of what this dress looks like to them. The only two things I can think of are First Lady of a dead president or Sound of Music cause it looks like the living room curtains And is it from the 60's ? no maker name other than Hong Kong

I'm drawing a blank, but when in doubt you can always use "vintage 1970s" or "very Jackie Kennedy."

I liked the other dress much more.
Jackie Kennedy is a good choice.

I think the dress I wore to Homecoming in 1966 was made of that stuff (only mine was pink and had a MUCH higher neckline!)! As for Halloween, could it be used by the Bride of Frankenstein? It's a definite Carol Brady. But HIPPIE? Nah - those were Indian fabrics not brocade (trust me, I had some).

Looks like the dress that the Disney character wore in Beauty and the Beast.

For anyone curious about the pink brocade 15 year old Neglus wore to Homecoming - here it is (as I remember it - I was SO jealous!)

Sure brings back memories of those big Butt Bows. My wedding dress had a huge fabric rose right there, too. Of course, I was skinny in those days. . . .

Wow Pixia! What a memory! You have it exactly right!(I don't think the back was QUITE that low and the bow QUITE that big - but otherwise VERY CLOSE!)You should be a fashion designer! I even wore those long gloves...at least as long as Mom could see me.

toasted - what did you say about the dress in your listing that you got bids so fast?
