Take a look at ebay auction 130022554297. See the clickable links he has at the bottom of the page? Can't that also be done with HTML code, if done right? Or does ebay have something like that built in that we can use and I have missed.

Do you mean the clickable links to other auctions that's above the item pictures? If so that's done with navpics.com. I don't see a clickable link at the bottom anywhere.

Yeah Mike, that's what I was talking about. Can't that be done with HTML? Set up your own links and fotos

Not too impressed...

If ya like that type of GALLERY, Ralphie highly recommends:

My Auction Gallery here: http://mygallery.timegonebuy.com/index.html

Or, just make one yerself within a table!

Iffen ya use THE TOAD PEOPLE to host yer images, they automatically generate THUMBS with each PIC, so there's no work to get the URL for a THUMB...

Then, you can make a CLICKABLE THUMB without even thinking (excellent for Ralphie, as he IS of da canine persuasion, doncha know?) here:

http://www.deadzoom.com/linkwizard_thumb.php

CENTER a bunch within a FRAME & yer all set!

BTW: the last time I used Steve's service (2 yrs ago), I was EXTREMELY happy with it & his EXCELLECT CS. Anybody NOW still with MAG & can update with recent experiences with MAG??

OTOH: Ralphie (the TIGHTWAD) is too CHEAPO (BTs are INFAMOUS for their miserly ways, doncha know?) to pay real MOOLA for anybody's GALLERY -- we are slowly switching over to the FREE one offered by...(rhymes with Dawg-tiva)

Did I mention that their GALLERY (which looks the same as the VD GALLERY) is...FREE? As in: NO CHARGE!

NTM: that they provided me with EXCELLENT & EXTREMELY QUICK CS, as I had experienced a snag while setting up the GALLERY, but they quickly FEXED IT -- and they charge: NADA! As in: ZILCH! If I may be so bold as to utter: FREE OF CHARGE!

If you mean the clickable photos then YES you can easily do that yourself if you have photos hosted somewhere like your website.

Ralphie's about me page hung my computer (bad doggie) waiting for scimg.autiva.com. Free is worth what you pay for it!

My son uses Dawg-Tiva & I was very impressed when I first saw their gallery.

My auction managing program includes one & it's just OK, not near as nice as Dawg-Tivas free gallery.

Agi, yes I have my fotos hosted. I sure wish i Knew HTML better. I wish I had more time to learn it instead of inching along the learning curve.

Tom, Your pages always look great. Thanks for the link. I'll check it out.

Jane, I looked for Dawg-Tiva and couldn't find anything on it/him/her

Before plunging off down the gallery garden path and investing a lot of time in it, you should really try to figure out whether or not it will generate more sales for you.

Yes, most galleries are pretty. Some are just pretty annoying, though.

And as a 2 year user of Dawg-tiva, I have to tell ya Christmas last year was a nightmare.

Missing pictures and template backgrounds cost me a ton of $$$$ in sales. I still use them but be prepared with a backup plan. When one of their servers go down, your free gallery may display " No Items Listed". You auction may not display pictures or even worse, their templated disappear along with your custom text.

During that fiasco I almost came back to VD!

Yes, you get what you pay for and sometimes the lessons get pretty expensive!

Just remember that when you start loading up your pages with galleries and other things, that there are still a lot of people on dial up. I got rid of my gallery a long time ago. I don't think it did much to generate sales.

I am an avid Vendio user been using since the start. would not change if they paid me to. LOL Well maybe if they paid me a lot ha ha ha. Since they started the Gallery at Vendio I have been using it and I think it helps a lot to get people to see my other items which I usually put on in groups of like items when I do list things I try to keep like stuff when I can for the week.
