someone leaves you feedback, and thanks you for the free or extra gift you enclosed, and you didn't know you enclosed one! I just had the second one in a couple of months, and I hate to write and ask what I sent them, and burst their bubble, but I just hope I didn't send them something I was supposed to sent to someone else!

I hate it when someone leaves FB like that (I don't include extras usually unless I have messed up and try to make it right)because the rest of customers reading that may wonder why they didn't get the "extra"!

I'm with you, Neglus! Amber, that happens to me from time-to-time. Or they say "thanks for the upgraded shipping". HUH? I didn't upgrade the shipment.

Well, I'm glad I'm not the only one. It always worries me that I accidentally put someone elses purchase in with theirs.

Happened to me once but in reverse. I was the one that got the "gift". I purchased a stamp collection for something like $350. Was very well packaged and while I was going through it I noticed a 1881 Gold $10 Liberty Head Eagle coin in near mint condition. Let's just say the coin was worth more than I paid for the whole stamp collection. Being the nice guy that I am I emailed the seller and asked him if he had misplaced anything small, not giving the details of the coin. He emailed back rather quickly that he had misplaced the exact coin I had, he described it in every detail. He had purchased the stamp collection and the coin seperatly at a auction and somehow the coin had been mixed in with the stamp collection. He told me he had been pulling his hair out for over a week and running around in circles trying to find the coin. I of course sent it back to him. To say he was happy I returned it is putting it mildly.

Check these emails out closely before responding or don't respond at all. They can be people fishing for information. I get one now and then and haven't listed an auction in months.

Occasionally I take a liking to someone specially if they have a sense of humor & send them a little gift which is always an extra rubber stamp which is what I sell, but I cringe when they mention it in FB.
I always think my other buyers wonder why they didn't get sonething extra too.
