Someone asked me a questions about local pick up on a item I have listed. I went to my messages in My Ebay and replied to the question. When I hit send - everything was as it should be except at the very top of the page it said "Invalid Question". I almost didn't see this. I wrote the guy again and asked if he had received the email - he had not.
I don't understand what was invalid about the question or the answer but I will look very closely at all my outgoing email from now on.

It was an "official" ebay question!!! It's still in my folder but my reply isn't. It's a real buyer who really lives in my city!! That's what really worries me about the whole thing. If I had not noticed that "Invalid Questions" at the top - I would have assumed that he got my reply - which he didn't.

Big Brother is watching! Ebay must have some robot read these things and evidently decided it was an attempt to buy "off ebay".

NEGLUS - I hope not as it was not an offer of any type - just if I win can is local pickup OK. Some seller don't allow local pick up so it was a honest question. The item weight 75lbs x 2 and I would love NOT to have to pack these.

I don't think the robots are very smart - there must be some wording that triggers the action. I have had some emails from ebay following an innocent ASQ reminding me that selling off ebay is not allowed. I would NEVER jeopordize my ebay business by selling a crummy postcard off ebay! DUH!

That happened to me many times also, so what I do is use the back arrow and then send it again it usually works the second time without a problem......for me anyway
