I received a renewal notice yesterday in the mail for my USPS International Mail Manual (IMM) for the newley released Issue 33. Well low and behold the dang manual showed up in the manual today! Looks like they screwed up somehow at the US Government Printing Office and sent the manual out without me even sending in the renewal card and $37 payment. So I now have a FREE IMM manual.
So if you are a subscriber to the IMM manual and you have received your renewal notice you may want to hold off for a little while and see if they screw up for you to and send you the manual before you send in your payment.

Well it wasn't the USPS that screwed up. It was the US GPO that screwed up. They are the ones that handle publications and subscriptions for the USPS.
This isn't the first time they have screwed up in my favor either. Last year I did send in the payment with the renewal card for my IMM manual. About 3 months later I received a Domestic Mail Manual (DMM) in the mail, not what I subscribed to. Gave them a call and they said that they would send off a IMM to me and if I could use the DMM to just keep it. So last year I got a DMM for free. At least their consistent. Maybe next time around I'll get both for free, LOL. 1 out of 4 people are mentally unbalanced. Take a look at your 3 closest friends. If they seem alright, you're the one! - Kyle Stubbins, CMS
