Bought these at an estate sale a long time ago. The seller could not tell me anything about them. I have looked everywhere and asked many people, this stumped everyone. So I am trying here.<p> They stand 3.5 inches tall, the heavy plastic base is 2.25" x 2.25". Anyone?

My W.A.G. is that they are a part of something else. Maybe supports for a shelf or display?

some kind of door knob,one goes on one side and the other is screwed on the opposite side
