I just received an unpaid item message. It looked legit...but I didn't recognize the name so I put the auction number in and it was for somthing that had nothing to do with me. This is the first of these I've received...and it looked so real. I'm so glad my inner voice told me not to click on the "view thread to respond"!!!

Just remember that if it's a legetimate eBay message, it will show up on your My eBay page.
I ignore all others.

Just to be on the safe side, you should pay for that auction. Just send 'em a fake check.


If Murphy's law is correct, everything East of the San Andreas Fault will slide into the Atlantic

The phisers have gotten really good, I received one the other day wanting to return an item they supposedly bought from me. Not so and when sent to eBay was confirmed a spoof.

Looked quite real though
