Now I'm chapped! We called Ebay two weeks ago via a "Special Number", and were routed to the appropriate Dept within two minuts.
The problem is a fellow Ebayer violated and continues to violate Ebays multiple 10 policy by operating on Ebay under three differen't Ebay user ids. Ebay addressed the matter and within 4 hours this particular Ebayer was in full compliance.
Two weeks later this moron is doing the exact same think listing in some cases (QTY 20) of the same items concurently using the auction format under three differen't Ebay user ids! Ofcourse it's the weekend so,..can't call anyone...so our only option is the often times useless "Live Chat"
If anyone has any suggestions they would be greatly appreciated..probably going to have to wait until Monday to make yet another Phone call.

I'm not sure if they are breaking any rules. As long as they have no more than 10 of any item listed under each ebay user ID. If they had 20 listed under one ID then they would be breaking policy. IMO

Wrong! This person was already reprimanded once by Ebay for this. This is directly off Ebays website it clearly states the following..check link below if you don't belive me
"Sellers may not use multiple User IDs to list more than 10 identical items"

Well you learn something every day. I didn't know you couldn't list identical items with different ID's for a total of more than 10 items.

What kind of idiot would want to list more than 10 identical items at the same time anyway? He's competing against himself.

Well not really, it's actually really effective for two reasons
1. If you really wan't to put your competition out of business,or make them "Throw In The Towel IE..none of your merchandise is selling anymore becasue the markets is flooded with the same product..it's a good place to start.
2. You get more market exposure, and can back end people similar or the same products in your Ebay store using the BIN feature and probably get a few more $$ for the same merchandsie if someones in a hurry.
The bottom line is it's a violation which is causing me, and countelss other sellers $$$. There is currently no way to report this violation via Ebays web form so... I'm going to call Ebay again monday morning and report this moron for doing the exact same thing he was warned not to do two weeks ago.

Mike-
You can't report users who are violating Ebays multiple listing policy using "QTY Three, Four, etc User Ids" with that URL...been there done that.
The only way to report a violation of this nature is to call someone with some clout over at Ebay and let them know whats going on. We called two weeks ago, and within four hours this Ebay user was no longer violating this policy.
We even tried another web forum "Live Chat", sent us to and 1 week later we recieved the notorious / dreaded "Cut And Paste", you need to use the URL you just sent us. I can't figure out why they don't have a way to report this via their web form...it baffles me.

Yeah, I guess that's a good point. That is for reporting numbers over 10 for "1" ID, not over multiple ID's. I think there's a report problem link somewhere in there that allow's you to type in your complaint. It's for reporting problems that they don't have listed. Just can't remember what it is under. If I get a chance later I'll see if I can find it.

How do you know it is same person? do you send for their user information which they get a copy of yours in return? if so then they will know who is reporting them for sure and may just backfire on you anyway. Unless you are suing another id to collect their information that is. Just a thought.

"Irked"..is it really that difficult...come on!
We had already reported this to Ebay via the telephone, and within 4 hours this persons auctions were in full / total compliance.
I'm 100 positive it is infactthe same person.
Oh and Mike, I tried the reporting it via the web forum your referring to."Live Chat", will be more then happy to give it to you...however 1-2 weeks later you will receive a cut and paste email directing you back to "Square 1"

So I take it they are trying to run you out of business?
I never knew a seller was restricted this way but then I never have 2 of a kind much less 20.
