I experienced a horrible time with a seller; he was rude and nasty; my items arrived broken as a result of terrible packing.

i am looking at this guy's current listings on ebay and see that in each one he mentions his online website, stating he has many many items there for sale. He then asks people to write to him for the website name.

So, he doesn't include the link in his listings to his online store, but he is advertising it and soliciting buyers to write to him.

Is this in violation of ebay policy and where can i report him.

Report him to the CIA or FBI or KGB or Gestapo .
They may even give you a small reward like a gold coin with the face of Adolf on it or socks sewn by Mussolini 's widow or some dried fish from Siberia.

hwahwa:

I posted a serious question and you answered with a pile of B/S.

I'm sure if you were cheated in the way of $300, you wouldn't want the answer that I received from you.

Sorry about hawwhawwwhawwa,

He is quite dense. Take anything he says with a grain of salt.

Your seller clearly is not someone decent to deal with. He also is on a very fine line with the website thing. IMHO he is in violation, but I would let ebay decide. Turn in his auctions to them and then sit back and watch.

Sorry,Kidgalahad, did you use your credit card to pay him??
Did you take out insurance??
I dont see anything wrong if the seller said something like I have a website and email me for the URL,etc .
If Ebay has its way,we sellers cant even say anything like I have a cold today or my mother in law loves Polish cooking or my uncle is a Rolex watch collector.
Just think what will happen, bidders who collect Rolex watches, love Polish food or looking for a cold remedy will all be shopping outside Ebay .
AMZN invited Strand books of NYC,ER Hamilton and other discount booksellers to sell on its site,it does not seem to mind that some of its customers bypass AMZN and go direct to those websites or receive catalogs from them.
