I have my new mannequin, I have my vintage prom dresses and I have my photos of my mannequin dressed up in my vintage prom dresses. I was wondering when I should start listing these dress as I didn't want to do it too early and then last night I saw something on the news about a problem at such & such prom this pass weekend - WHAT????
I know I'm dating myself but it seemed like our prom was in late May or something like that - did I miss all the proms for this year?

Probably not all - but some of them. Our high school is a new one so they have to hold prom mid-april to get a nice place to hold it. All the older schools have the Sats in May all booked up.

If it's a vintage ditty, maybe you shouldn't bog (tie) yourself down to such a limited audience in your description (i.e., "prom dress" unless it's only fitting for that particular occaison.
Yes, prom night is coming up. NO, what happened (on the news) doesn't mean that young adults aren't going to go to the prom (for goodness sake!).
Depending on where you live, yes, you might be a little on the "slow-side." But don't let that ruin your day! After all, how much does it cost you to list it?

Around here they are end of April through May. List it now. Prom shopping is in high gear in Texas and girls are looking for vintage.
Good luck!

Our local prom is May 6th or something like that.
I know what story you are referring to - this group of kids had their parents offer to pay for a limo for them for their prom and when they returned from dinner they found out that their limo driver was drunk! This was in Florida and the woman was driving on the wrong side of the freeway. They called their parents, they got the keys from the limo driver and she was arrested aftewards.
When I saw that story I thought also "early prom".

My point is... yes, I heard about that horrible thing... but, yikes.. so no kids in the country are going to go to their prom?
NOT!!!
It was a horrible thing that happened, but gee whiz, if I were 16, 17, or 18, I wouldn't be staying home because of it.
